Very good baked goods and authentic. One point deducted because the Italian in front of us paid €1 less for the exact same number (grams) less.

It was enough for me to enter to understand that I was in the right place.

Historic biscuit factory since 1960 in the heart of Trastevere. Homemade, authentic, sincere, nothing refined from homemade biscuits, desserts, cakes with a truly delicious genuine flavor of the past. When it happens I always take a bag of 3/4 biscuits to eat while walking. The prices are honest and the quality is excellent. I got a bag with 5 biscuits for €1.80 (the price is by weight), one better than the other. The ugly but good ones and the amaretti biscuits are excellent! The lady who has been working there for years and years is very kind. A must try if you are in the area!

And you find yourself almost by force, even if by chance, this Forno in the streets of Trastevere (in the street that takes its name from a miracle involving blind people) that even if you don't know or have never heard of it, you feel attracted because it's clear that time has stopped here! After buying and enjoying something we realized that it was a must-see for many tourists. Worth coming back to try the Maritozzo

Mentre passeggiavamo per Trastevere, abbiamo notato questo biscottificio. Non appena entrati abbiamo avuto l’impressione di essere trasportati indietro nel tempo, la proprietaria ci ha accolto e spiegato tutte le tipologie di biscotti secchi fatti da loro, i dolci e i maritozzi appena sfornati.
Abbiamo preso biscotti secchi al peso, consiglio le palline di limone e cocco in particolare, ma anche i cuori di pasta frolla e cioccolato non sono da meno.
Consiglio di farci tappa.
Una bellissima scoperta.

Entrano in questo locale si ha l'impressione di viaggiare indietro nel tempo.
Tutto riporta ad epoche passate, il bancone il vecchio forno, la vetrina e la cortesia e simpatia della proprietaria.
I prodotti sono di assoluta eccellenza. Noi abbiamo preso diversi tipi di pasticceria da tè, e abbiamo sentito sapori che ormai non trovi più neanche nelle pasticcerie artigianali. E' un luogo da visitare, goderne e preservare.
