02/08/2025: Granbar in Turin: stylish waterfront dining During my stay in Turin, I accidentally discovered *Granbar*, a charming waterfront bar, and it turned out to be an instant hit. The setting is truly stunning: the bar overlooks the river, creating a relaxed, almost Mediterranean atmosphere, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The terrace is especially delightful in good weather. Granbar is known for its cocktails, and rightly so. The drinks are carefully prepared, with an eye for detail and flavor. I sampled their Negroni and a homemade spritz, among other things – both were particularly successful. It must be said, however, that the prices are on the higher side compared to other bars in the city. You're clearly paying for the location and the stylish presentation. What particularly charmed me was the selection of complimentary snacks served with your drink. No ordinary chips or nuts, but small Italian treats that are perfect for an aperitif. Their focaccia is also highly recommended – freshly baked, generously topped, and deliciously crispy. Granbar is the ideal spot for those looking for a refined aperitif experience in a cozy setting. A bit pricier, but absolutely worth it.
