Birreria dal Papi In Arona

Last night we discovered this place with quality food. We had a vegetarian and mixed platter, pizza by the slice with Norcia ham, and a wide selection of beers. The staff were friendly and courteous despite the place being packed.

We were at this place last night. I had made a reservation by phone a few days before, on Thursday, for 9 people, but when we arrived they couldn't find the reservation!! The person at the counter I spoke to, I think the owner, was very annoyed and annoyed!!!! But it wasn't my fault if they hadn't noted the reservation.!!! It can happen of course, but there are ways and ways... Saturday night, 9 people in Arona.... it was a struggle to find another place!!! They offered us an inside room with air conditioning. We had to accept because we had no other options... the air conditioning was very high... we asked several times for it to be lowered with little success... some people had to dine in their jackets!!! They lowered it at the end of the evening!!! The staff was very friendly, but I can't say the same about the owner!!! The food was average. We had hamburgers and pizzas by the slice. Prices were medium to high. Check the bill because there was an extra beer on our bill... €6.

Simple bistro on the lakeside. Fabulous puccia and cutting board with quality cold cuts. Highly recommended

The spaghetti carbonara was good, but the pizza was average; it didn't seem fresh. The service and the location were pleasant.

It's a nice place facing the lake to have a good aperitif at sunset. Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice atmosphere. The aperitif was pleasant and appreciated. To return.

Eravamo già stati qui parecchio tempo fa e avevamo preso pizza e birra, tutto molto buono. Questa volta ci ha attirato il loro menù diverso dagli altri, e abbiamo preso gnocco fritto e tagliere di Norcia, oltre che spaghettoni cacio e pepe e spaghettoni alla carbonara. Volevamo qualcosa di diverso dal solito piatto ... I complimenti vanno sicuramente allo chef, ma soprattutto al personale, preparato, veloce, gentile e premuroso. Grazie
