Historic place in Piacenza. We come here mostly for a pint of Guinness. Wide selection of sandwiches (Il Lurido first and foremost), focaccias and bruschettas in particular. Also gluten free.

La Curva Pizzeria Bataroleria

12/10/2025: A restaurant in the upper Tidone Valley that serves only pizza and the traditional Batarò, delicious focaccias that can be filled with cured meats and cheeses of your choice. The pizza is also delicious and very light. The staff are friendly and attentive. A pleasant stop to combine with a visit to the beautiful village of Caminata.
10/10/2025: Bastare is delicious. I recommend the gorgonzola and onions... delicious!

02/11/2025: A surprise set menu; you don't know what you're going to eat. There were 8 or 9 courses. Everything was delicious, with just the right amount of spices and no fusion cuisine. We stumbled upon it by chance and were so glad we did. If you can afford a little more, this place won't disappoint. Oh! And the bread they save for you to take home is extraordinary.
21/10/2025: Beautiful place and quality food!!! I hope to return soon!
