Fabulous location, beautiful scenery, lovely staff and amazing patisserie with a beautiful Darjeeling tea. Loved the look of the aperitifs with nibbles too, will be coming back!

Delicious pastry/chocolate shop and ice cream shop with seating outside and inside. For a snack we tried several products with great satisfaction and even the next day we couldn't resist because we really liked them. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, I was not able to try the coffee and sweets because they close early, but this village is a discovery and very nice. I advise you to come and wander around it, not just in the center, because it is full of life and there are not many tourists. It is a small village in Italy. Come to it when you are going out from San Candido. We got out of the cable car and came and I did not see anyone talking about it. It has a large supermarket for those who want necessities.

Una “chicca” dell’Alta Pusteria; brave le pasticciere inclusa la proprietaria. Cameriere quasi tutte eccellenti nel loro operato. Consiglio per assaggiare i dolci tipici della tradizione.

05/01/2026: Really lovely rooms, delicious half-board menu at very fair prices. Excellent service; they even personally showed us the somewhat hidden parking area :)
05/11/2025: The inn was very nice, the rooms were modern and comfortable. It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station. Breakfast was very good. We ate dinner at the inn twice in the evening; the menu was small, but the food was fresh and delicious 😋. We'd gladly come back.

Arthotel Gratschwirt

14/12/2025: The hotel is still family-run, very clean, simple but with all the comforts, excellent service, and a fabulous restaurant. Definitely worth a visit.
06/10/2025: We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Hotel Gratschwirt in Toblach at the end of the summer season, and we have to say – it was simply WOW! The location is perfect, surrounded by breathtaking nature. The recently renovated room was a true retreat: comfortable, clean, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities you could need. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and genuinely took care of our well-being with great warmth in every respect. The half-board dinner, a 5-course menu, was a highlight every day – delicious, varied, and more than sufficient. Our stay at the Hotel Gratschwirt was thoroughly relaxing and exceeded our expectations. Also worth mentioning is the wellness area with pool and sauna, where we found relaxation after our mountain activities. If the opportunity arises, we will definitely come back. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and quiet amidst the beauty of South Tyrol in the Dolomites.
