More than impressed. Top-notch service, excellent regional cuisine, warm hosts, a fantastic location, centrally located near the train station, rooms with mountain views and a very quiet atmosphere. The hotel's own distillery offers tastings of fine, rare spirits and liqueurs.

It was a few years ago. We ended up at the Biohotel Panorama in Mals by chance. We still have wonderful memories today… the hammock on the balcony, the fantastic hike with the owner, the cozy rooms, and the delicious dinners. Perhaps we'll book again soon.

After a very positive experience a few years ago, we returned to the restaurant. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined. The cooking is still solid, but the refinement of the dishes is unfortunately no longer as great as it once was. The lamb was well-roasted and the quality of the meat was convincing, but it lacked the outstanding quality one would expect at these prices. It's nice that they point out that some of the ingredients come from their own garden or are foraged wild, but that alone doesn't make for outstanding cuisine.

What a wonderful experience! A truly organic hotel with delicious food, a wonderful room with cool decor and a stunning view, and a location for a variety of activities. Oh, and the entire hotel team exudes pure warmth!

We stayed one night at the Biohotel Panorama South Tyrol in Mals – as a stopover on our Trans Alp tour – and were thoroughly impressed. Dinner was a culinary highlight: organic, regional, and lovingly prepared. The staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and warm – we felt welcome from the very first moment. Despite the rain, we were generously allowed to stay longer in the cozy lobby until our shuttle service arrived – a gesture that demonstrates true hospitality. The in-house distillery is also particularly worth mentioning: We had the pleasure of sampling some of the homemade schnapps – delicious and highly recommended. On Monday evening, we attended a tasting of the homemade, award-winning organic spirits made by/with Mr. Steiner. We have rarely encountered someone with so much love for their craft. We thoroughly enjoyed not only the spirits, but also the invaluable knowledge gained from decades of experience. Mr. Steiner is a very special host who passionately looks to the future with the knowledge and love he has inherited from generations of the past. You can feel and taste it. Even without staying overnight at the hotel, the tasting was one of the highlights of our vacation<3

It's absolutely beautiful here. We love coming back here again and again. From the rooms to the service and the food, everything is absolutely top-notch. Super friendly and great all-around service.

You can feel that this is a hotel run with passion by two generations of the Steiner family. They are always ready to explain the concept of their organic hotel. The family is supported by a very friendly and helpful staff. At least the south-facing rooms have a wonderful panorama over the valley all the way up to the Ortler. They are tastefully furnished and always very clean. Breakfast is a rich and high-quality buffet. In the evening, you shouldn't miss the varied 4-course dinner menu, where you can choose from various starters, main courses, and desserts. The guided hike led by the senior manager was well organized. During the hike to and through the Uina Gorge, we learned a lot about nature and alpine farming from him. We would happily recommend the hotel.

Lovely hotel, kind, helpful and professional staff, excellent cuisine with great attention to local raw materials, quiet, spacious and very nice rooms, private garden with sunbeds in the shade of a splendid walnut tree, great for relaxing. One consideration: the high temperatures at the end of June made us wish for air conditioning in the room, which instead there is not…
