A restaurant in a small village in Barbagia, where the food is excellent, especially the delicious seafood dishes, as well as traditional Sardinian cuisine. The pizzeria offers excellent thin-crust pizzas. The owners are wonderful and friendly. I highly recommend visiting Belvi and enjoying a delicious meal.

From Ogliastra, destination Barbagia di Belvì. Stunning views and roads for us bikers. I found the place, small but very welcoming. The manager, Fulvio, is a cheerful and very helpful person, as are the staff. Very kind. I asked to have lunch there and I must say I was amazed. The portions were generous and tasty, and the food was so good. I ordered a first course, a mixed salad for a second course, and a coffee for a fair price. The aperitif and dessert (delicious hazelnut nougat) were offered by the manager. Highly recommended. I will definitely be back with my biker friends.

21/06/2026: Not only is the hotel absolutely beautiful with incredible amenities and fantastic food, drinks, and programs, but the staff is truly outstanding!! We got a flat tire on a Saturday with only a few hours before we needed to leave for the airport and Massimo and the entire desk staff went above and beyond to find a mechanic to come in site and fix it while we continued to enjoy our stay! I cannot recommend them enough
14/06/2026: This is promoted as a "posh" hotel, but it is not. It's too big and crowded, with difficult access to the rooms. Our suite (#103) was very special, with lots of space (extra day beds for kids, an outdoor bath, and an outdoor bed), but it was uphill, up three sets of outdoor stairs. Also, no matter how careful you were, the bathroom was flooded each time you showered. Breakfast needs some improvement: coffee is horrible and there is no cut fruit for yogurt. I shouldn't have to chop/peel whole fruit with a basic table knife. Finally something, the gym has good equipment, but it's about 24C/75F in there, so it's very uncomfortable to workout.

Ristorante Pizzeria New Garden

17/05/2026: Passing through town, I called to reserve a table 10 minutes away on a Sunday, and they very kindly set us up in a quiet room, and we ate very well (I wholeheartedly recommend the fried calamari 😋). The restrooms were spotless and well-stocked, including a baby changing table. Friendly and professional staff.
29/04/2026: I was passing through Macomer. The restaurant was recommended to me by friends who live there, and I was truly satisfied. I only had a starter and a side dish because I was in a hurry and running late. It's a shame, because the menu, with its interesting dishes, made it difficult to choose, but it still met my expectations. When I'm back in Macomer, I'll definitely be back.
