Big Bamboo In Viareggio

I had lunch at this restaurant during my work break and was truly surprised. I had ordered a plate of fried cod without much expectation, but what arrived was a true triumph of flavor and abundance. In addition to the crispy, flavorful cod, there were beans, fresh salad, and spectacular caramelized onions, which alone were worth the trip. A rich, varied dish, with attention to detail, which conveys passion and attention to detail in the kitchen. I truly hope to return to Viareggio soon for another lunch like this!

The food was really good and it felt very local and traditional. The cutlery was a bit dirty but they changed it immediately when we pointed it out. I didn’t feel scammed at all like the some other restaurants in Viareggio.

5/5 for the best seafood spaghetti in town seriously I had some in bigger restaurants but this is the best. Thank you chef!

Amazing food, local, everything was very very good!

We ate on the terrace, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Being a bar, the food was excellent and plentiful, and the price was very fair.
