We're here for the third time today and we really enjoyed it. The service is excellent. The waitresses are very nice and friendly. The food is also very tasty. There are far worse restaurants on the promenade.

We visited the Osteria Pizzeria La Scala in Cannobio. The food was (unfortunately) only okay—hence the 3 stars. The service and ambiance were good, and the location right on the lake was very nice. You can eat inside the restaurant, although there are definitely better restaurants along the promenade.

Can't understand the bad reviews. The food was fantastic, which you wouldn't expect given the low prices. Have already paid a lot more for significantly worse food. The service was so friendly that you felt like you were with friends. Always my pleasure. This spot is only recommended!

06/09/2025: Maria totally made our night with super detailed food and drink overviews and recommendations as well as seating us in such a beautiful spot, we feel so grateful. She has the menu super memorized, very friendly, and attentive —- she should be promoted!! Heaven would be every restaurant/bar experience like Maria made ours!
