The gentleman was very kind and welcoming, especially when telling us about the dishes and the history of Trieste. The dishes he recommended to us were delicious and made on the spot so the waiting time was a little long but it was totally worth it. Typical and traditional dishes from Trieste. Very happy and satisfied with the service.

Diego was so helpful and clearly passionate about the food that they serve. wine by the bottle but reasonably priced and I tried two craft beers one IPA which was fruity and delicious and one American lager both sensibly priced. We had beer ham with horseradish as a starter,which was fantastic and then main courses were goulash with potatoes, and dumplings with Gorgonzola cream And walnuts. We went early around 7.30pm so was quiet but was filling up as we left after 9 £80 euros all in. With a pudding to share!! Not bad!!

Very good everything. The food is very good even if the prices are a little higher than average. Service not very fast but welcoming place. Good, quality dishes. To return.

Siamo stati ieri sera all’Osteria Bier Stube e ci siamo trovati benissimo! Abbiamo ordinato diversi piatti, tra cui una buonissima Jota, dei fantastici gnocchi Boemi, dell’ottimo goulash e delle buonissime patate in tecia! Il tutto accompagnato da ottima birra. Prezzi giusti. Consigliata la prenotazione!

Osteria with typical dishes of the area, lacks a selection for vegetarians but the staff is very clear about it (you have no surprises, you know it in advance).

Small brewery in the center of Trieste. Typical Trieste dishes of excellent quality. A special mention for the goulash with potatoes in the pan, truly delicious. Absolutely worth trying.

Prima cena a Trieste ultimo tavolo disponibile. Ambiente piccolo perfettamente conservato sembra di fare un salto nel tempo passato. Piatti tradizionali buona birra rossa. Consiglio di prenotare

27/08/2024: Historic restaurant (1920) in the center of Trieste which offers truly typical good quality dishes. Friendly, competent and passionate owners. Recommended dishes: - Trieste ham served with mustard and horseradish; - Giulianska (stuffed with ham and cheese); - potato gnocchi with homemade goulash; - pork belly with baked potatoes; - emperor's dessert; - sweet savory; - lots of beer... - Badel Pelinkovac herbal bitters.

22/08/2024: Suban The sodium vapor lamp shone softly on electric wire. Lackadaisical vines of wine, ignoring nightly moths dancing wild in their quest for immolation. Attentive, red wine lapping. Quiet waiters audible only by their crunching steps, on pebbles surrounded by stone, sea, trees and vapor. And my heart tapping wild.
