Small and welcoming place. Exceptional food quality. Really very good beer. Simple, precise and kind service. We discovered it by chance, but it would be worth organizing a trip to Trieste just to go there. Stupendous. Point.

Typical Trieste restaurant where you can appreciate the flavors of this land, including the phenomenal goulash! The portions are not abundant, it is recommended to take two dishes each. Friendly, helpful and friendly staff to chat with.

For lovers of Austro-Hungarian cuisine this tavern is without a doubt the best there is. Small but welcoming atmosphere. Very "lean" service, but one that knows how to convey the warmth of the place and the dishes, which characterize the place. The cuisine largely follows Austro-Hungarian cuisine, as Trieste is based and has its roots in the period of the Austrian Empire, of which it was part as a commercial port. Truly very well made dishes, authentic taste that accompanies you from the appetizer to the first course, second course, side dish and dessert. Being a lover of Austro-Hungarian cuisine, I wanted to try goulash. Their goulash is really very very good, the smells and flavors were released from the first "bite" with the meat melting in your mouth from how well it was cooked. The beer was really very good and accompanied the lunch perfectly. I recommend it for those who want to find some of the warmth of the Austro-Hungarian culture and the history of this great maritime city, which in addition to fascinating you through its history also conquers you with its food and wine culture.

Rustic place but with good Austro-Hungarian food and good (albeit few) beers. The Bohemian dumplings with beer roast pork are recommended.

Not just a brewery, a real restaurant with typical local offerings. Delicious jota, special goulash and potatoes in the pan, delicious Bohemian dumplings. Very particular Slovenian bitter and sublime Sacher of their production. Friendly service and welcoming environment, you feel at home. If I lived in Trieste I would eat here often.
