True Triestina tavern, quality dishes, fantastic Jota, and very friendly staff. Added value, prices more than correct in a city that is generally not cheap. Very recommended!

Absolutely approved place. The gnocchi with goulash are delicious The very rustic place is also nice. Place where I will definitely return if I see Trieste again.

We stopped for lunch...we were able to taste some typical dishes and I must say we were satisfied, the Jota, the dish I liked most...I would also add excellent staff

I was on Easter day for lunch with my girlfriend in this tavern. The food was superb, honestly the best out of 4 lunches and 4 dinners in different places in Trieste. I won't go into details so as not to ruin the surprise. The place has a unique atmosphere. The lady and gentleman who served us were very kind. I will return to Trieste and return to them.

Had dinner last night. A place with a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, with friendly and friendly staff. we split an appetizer, two second courses and a dessert. All the food was good, the beers too, really a recommended place!

We went to this Osteria because we found it on Google maps, and reading the reviews of customers who had gone before us, we said to ourselves, let's go too and try these exquisite dishes, the place is small, but welcoming, without reservations and difficult to find a seat, but the VERY KIND owner, he still let us sit at a table that he only uses to place the menus, if eaten VERY WELL Thanks again to the owner for letting us sit at the table where he places the menus menu.

Tipica bierstube con la sua atmosfera. Pochi posti, quindi è necessario prenotare. Buoni piatti tradizionali, ma con porzioni un pò risicate. personale gentile. Prezzi nella media.

04/01/2025: Che posto piacevole! Accogliente con quel tanto di atmosfera familiare che ci vuole, personale gentile e professionale. Cibo tipico con un tocco in più. Abbiamo pranzato insieme ad un ospite calabrese che ha apprezzato molto la cucina triestina. Tutto era perfetto. Prosciutto ottimo, carne saporita e di qualità, gnocchi di pane e susine particolari davvero. Consigliato.

19/07/2025: A true Trieste gem: authentic flavors and a unique welcome... I visited Vecio Buffet Marascutti with two friends and we left smiling and full. A place that conveys the genuine soul of Trieste, where you can feel the atmosphere of home and eat like the old days. The owner is a delightful person: brisk but friendly, and you can immediately sense the passion of someone who truly loves their job. The goulash gnocchi were simply delicious, soft and well-seasoned, with a flavorful yet balanced sauce. The cod stew with polenta was a delightful surprise: tender, rich in flavor, and perfectly accompanied by warm, comforting polenta. A simple yet authentic place, with an atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The service is quick, courteous, and unfussy, as it should be in a true trattoria. The quality-price ratio is excellent. Ultimately, this place is definitely worth a visit, especially if you're looking for a genuine, local culinary experience. I'll definitely be back!
14/07/2025: The cooked ham as a fantastic appetizer, as well as the tagliolini with sardines and cherry tomatoes. Highly recommended.
