Popped in here for a drink after eating elsewhere. Great atmosphere and service: Ahmed at the bar was friendly, engaging and always happy to help. Cocktails were reasonably priced and very lovely. Would visit again and heartily recommend for a drink in the heart of Ortigia.

Magnificent experience. We had a really good Orange Splash and White Negroni. Valeria and Andrea were always smiling and kind and did not hold back for a friendly chat even when busy with work. I highly recommend!

Cool bar. We haven't eaten there only had drinks. Guinness is an average pint for 8 euros. White wine was good at 5 euros. Music was very eclectic, some great songs.

Google claims it's an Irish bar, but long before that it was a "bookshop wine bar" and it's both of those as well as an Irish bar. It also hosts an interesting-looking cinema club. We had lunch here twice on a visit to Siracusa in August 2024. They do excellent paninis. They are a proper Irish bar with Guinness and even Harp lager, which I haven't seen elsewhere outside Ireland in decades.

A sera ormai inoltrata, quasi per caso entriamo al Biblios Café per berci qualcosa. Va a finire che in mezzo ai libri ci godiamo un buon Moojito e alcune bruschette, presentate bene e davvero buone. Siamo stati serviti con cortesia, abbiamo passato un piacevole e... goloso momento. Siamo stati piacevolmente sorpresi.

Il locale, in una suggestiva via di Ortigia, piuttosto vivace la sera, non offre piatti veri e propri ma molti stuzzichini interessanti per accompagnarli a un aperitivo o a una birra. Alcuni sono decisamente creativi e possono rappresentare una pausa dalla cucina siciliana. Eccellente ma non leggerissima. Se i tavolini all'aperto sono pochi, l'interno è molto interessante, con una libreria / biblioteca e una piccola sala dove si proiettano film. Insomma, un'esperienza diversa dai soliti stereotipi proposti ai turisti.

30/06/2024: My wife is gluten intolerant and the possibility of enjoying a "real" sandwich is often precluded for her. Here at venire a Tastari it is different: the choice of artisanally produced gluten-free bread, the selected raw materials of the highest quality, the love with which Massimo, the owner, talks about his creations, make the culinary experience fantastic and give guests celiacs the true pleasure of "eating well", without any preclusions. Obviously this also applies to those who are not gluten intolerant. Our palates were delighted by absolute delicacies! A riot of refined flavors and aromas, the Ro Zu Turi sandwich! Thank you Massimo for making us discover even more the true flavors of your splendid land of Sicily. Paolo, Michela and Pietro.

02/09/2024: August 2024. Small bakery in a side street of Noto. Found thanks to a sign in the main street. It is about 150 meters from the main street and maybe half a kilometer from the cathedral. Parking is difficult to find near the venue. There are seats in the outdoor area with raised chairs and covered white tables. The white pizza with onion is spectacular. Soft, tall, tasty, crunchy, both the potato and the dough. They don't use lard except for the cannoli. Fair prices between 15/18 euros per kg.
29/08/2024: Impressive bakery. Traditional with simple ingredients but very careful and of the best quality. Ancient grain, sourdough. The healthiest and most advisable thing to eat.
