Local on the Euganean Hills in the hamlet of Turri di Montegrotto. The restaurant has nothing to share with the original tavern da Refosco, a place famous in the 80s for its classic peasant cuisine, now it is a nice place where you eat traditional dishes revisited in a modern key, therefore cooking at low temperatures (such as the goose leg) pumpkin oil flan with morlacco fondue and crunchy speck, or taglioni stuffed with ricotta with herbs with morlacco cheese etc. accompanied by the classic plates of cold cuts, bigoli with wild boar or court ragout, sliced meat and grilled cockerels ... Fast service, young and dynamic staff, overall a more than positive opinion

We went here to celebrate a birthday.
A very beautiful location, especially worth it in the summer as you can eat outside with a view of the hills but the interior is also very nice.

Lunch with friends in this place discovered by chance. A real revelation, it has a beautiful, characteristic interior and a really nice open space overlooking the hills above Padua. There is a small educational farm. It can be reached either by car or with two different walks, a quick one lasting 30 minutes and a longer one lasting 1.5 hours. Limited choice on the menu but very characteristic and really excellent food. I have already organized the next visit, if you are looking for a place to make a good impression with friends or family you will not be disappointed.

Very nice, very particular and well-kept place. Congratulations to the staff who are all very kind and helpful. Appetizer based on polenta and mushrooms, one with cheese and one with grilled salami, truly delicious. First course with ricotta and vegetable ravioli, with cheese sauce, walnut crumble and crispy bacon, delicious. Dessert with almond tart and ricotta and amaretti tart, really very good. I highly recommend it

Nice place on the hill visited on a Sunday and even though it was very crowded he made us sit down and eat well in a short time and well. Not very cheap, but we had a good time.

Beautiful place, excellent food, friendly and courteous staff. They have a fabulous panoramic terrace, shame about the weather we found, it was cold and windy, and we weren't able to enjoy the view. We will certainly return in the summer! The only flaw is the road to get there which is very narrow and quite neglected.

Very nice place.
Unfortunately, the menu did not satisfy me at all, the dishes are few, very few wines, very good homemade desserts.
However, the staff is very kind, available even on overbooked days!

Crazy location, the road to reach it is not particularly easy, but once there the panoramic view is truly spectacular. A "good-style" tavern with genuine dishes and a service carried out with kindness and friendliness.
Traditional dishes, honest prices. Must try.
