For me, who knew the old Jochtal, it was a surprise. It's a complete change from the previous one. An excellent base in both summer and winter. Everything was very good, but also too standardized.

Wonderful. Lunch with a breathtaking view, excellent dishes, simple yet excellent cuisine, reasonable prices, and truly friendly service.

We've been coming to the Jochtal Restaurant for several years now. The staff is incredibly hardworking, always friendly, with excellent food (the son is a great cook) and good value for money. I have no idea what some people here still have to complain about... Roland, Michaela & team, keep up the good work—you're fantastic!

The Jochtalhütte is not your average mountain restaurant: it's a place where you can feel that people are hosting with joy, care, and love. Even on the busiest days, host Roland and his team manage to remain warm, welcoming, and attentive. You never feel like "just another guest." It's the small gestures, the friendly look, the genuine effort that makes you feel at home – especially in moments when things get hectic. The food is traditional to the region, delicious, and wonderful value for money. The view is breathtaking – but it's the atmosphere that draws us back again and again. Thank you for this special place. We'll be back. Every year. And every time with a smile in our hearts.

Very nice, modern hut. Fast and good service, and the food (Schlutzkrapfen) is very tasty.

Wir über dieses Restaurant etwas Schlechtes schreibt, der sollte erst einmal nachdenken, ob nicht er selbst an der misslichen Situation schuld war. Aber Schlechtmacher, Besserwisser und Egoisten findet man ja leider im mehr. Die Familie Weissteiner und ihr Personal arbeiten absolut professionell, sie sind freundlich und herzlich. Preis, Leistung, Qualität und Quantität, Frische und Anrichtungsweise findet man so schnell nicht wieder. Wir freuen uns jedes Jahr auf das Jochtal, und werden immer wieder kommen.
