We left Verona on foot to go to the Alpini rally in Vicenza, crossing the Little Dolomites. We were walking in a group along a secondary road in the Costabissara area when a boy with a white van pulls up and invites us to stop for a glass of wine at his bakery a little further on. When we arrived in front of the bakery the owner offered wine and hot pizza like there was no tomorrow! We stuffed ourselves like pigs. Everything truly excellent! Exquisite person!
