BE'MO In Bologna

My Chinese girlfriend recommended it, and it was worth it. This restaurant is a great place for those who want to enjoy a good, quiet meal or those who want to discover Chinese cuisine. We ordered two pork rogamo and cold noodles with bean sprouts, carrots, cucumbers, sesame sauce, peanut sauce, and spicy oil. The staff was very kind, patient, and helpful. If you're in Bologna, stop by. 😉

The cai jiamo (a type of steamed bun) was delicious, and the noodles were passable, but the last takeout I ordered from this place was a truly life-changing experience. Perhaps it's the cold noodles that spoil easily in the summer, and the fact that they missed delivery. Other issues weren't major, but after trying two excellent jiamo (a type of steamed bun) restaurants in FI, I'm really not impressed. The steamed buns here (at least during my time at BO) weren't the soft, baiji-style buns or the puff pastry-like ones. They were a bit doughy, but edible. It's a matter of taste.

Very nice and kids friendly restaurant. The food is fresh and taste amazing. And the owner and service is always smiling.

A formidable bistro represents rather authentic Shaanxi dishes (Shaanxi is a province in northwestern China). If you are open for Chinese food that is not adapted to western tastes, give it a try.

Friendly and attentive service. The owner is the same as the restaurant's logo! I had cold spaghetti and rogamo, both delicious! I highly recommend this little place for cold tagliatelle and other dishes. The cold spaghetti + rogamo + drink menu was only €13.

I had a pork rogamo and a caigamo (vegan) and the second one impressed me much more than the first one. In fact, the pork one, although good, could get boring after a while, maybe because it's a bit heavy; while the vegan one was very fresh and the ginger flavor was really pleasant. The prices are more than fair and at this point I'm curious to also try the spaghetti and the cold tagliatelle

We went to BE'MO for lunch and it was a pleasant surprise! The place has a very refined atmosphere, it really feels like you're in China: basic but warm furnishings, high counters, young customers (many students with laptops), and a modern touch that makes it welcoming and original. You eat with chopsticks, in personalized paper containers with the nice logo of the place. The specialty is the rogamo, a sort of Chinese sandwich that vaguely resembles a tigella, but filled with spiced meat: really tasty and unique. We also tried the MOMO spaghetti, a little spicy but tasty and well seasoned. The selection of Chinese drinks is also very interesting: I tried an iced tea with pomelo and honey, fresh and fragrant, excellent! Overall an original place, perfect for a lunch break that is different from the usual, informal but quality. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

So delicious! It tastes the same as the domestic Xi’an Roujiamo! Plenty of noodles and meat! The beef noodles are also delicious! The noodles you make yourself are fragrant and chewy. The cold potato slices are also delicious. The potatoes are crispy and delicious.
