We went to the sanctuary and on the recommendation of a shopkeeper we were directed to this restaurant with the promise of eating well and paying little... the place is small and welcoming, very well set up, bruschetta with good mixed vegetables, excellent hot bread, pasta typical Puglia with good sauce and pieces of meat but the sauce was a little strong.... the pork rib very good, very normal fries, the prices a little high unlike the cone we were told.... the gentleman who told us he served without a smile he put a bit of sadness.... in the end €95.50 if he had taken those 50 cents from me I would have left €5 as a tip.....instead he gave me a handful of change in change....I put them as an offer in church.

Really excellent restaurant... a little small for the size I expected it to be a little bigger but it's ok anyway... I ate a nice plate of Orecchiette with Apulian ragù which was really excellent and a portion of fried potatoes as a side dish... each 3 minutes passed between the tables while you were eating which bothers me a bit anyway 😑 ps. Portions of dishes I would say are too abundant!!

Locale fresco e pulito, prodotti genuini antipasti fatti con prodotti eccellenti, Orecchiette fresche fatte con Amore, anche le carni sono eccellenti, il proprietario troppo silenzioso, non dà molta confidenza al cliente, ma ognuno è fatto a modo suo, tutto sommato siete bravi. Complimenti visto con quello che si trona in giro, alla prossima

We entered with many good intentions, but we left almost disappointed. Meat sauce good for seasoning overcooked pasta, a roll with sauce with good flavor but very small (about 100 grams...even the eye wants its part...) absence of seasonal vegetables in the menu (only French fries and grilled courgettes and aubergines)... The potential is certainly there but it doesn't shine considering the lack of enthusiasm shown by the staff in charge of table service. We will return hoping that some critical issues will be overcome...
I forgot: it's not a pizzeria even though the sign outside says Pizzeria...

Forse non tutti sanno quanto sia buono il pesce cucinato in questo meraviglioso ristorante a gestione familiare: vi consiglio di provare sia l'antipasto di mare sia la grigliata, eccellenti. La famiglia del signor Giovanni e le sue figlie, Michela e Angela, ogni anno rendono le mie vacanze a Monte Sant'Angelo molto speciali. Vi assicuro che mangiare qui, sulla splendida piazzetta , all'aperto, è veramente un lusso che ci possiamo permettere. I prezzi sono giusti, per questo ristorante che è una vera eccellenza in questo paese. Se poi volete regalarvi l'esperienza completa allora ordinate anche una birra speciale, fiore all'occhiello della fornitissima enoteca del ristorante. Se da oltre dieci anni mangio soltanto qui quando sono a Monte, ci sarà una ragione! Maria D
