It was our first time in Milan, and while exploring the canal area we decided to stop at Bellariva for dinner. We tried the local Milanese dish, ossobuco. I wasn’t familiar with it before (it’s some kind of braised veal shank), but I love trying new things, and it turned out to be wonderful.
What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and we even had a nice chat about their background and the restaurant’s story. Special thanks to the chef and the team for making us feel so comfortable.
Great food, great people, and a wonderful experience overall. Highly recommend!

I had the beef stew with polenta; it was a little salty but very good. The focaccia with burrata for starters was excellent. The service was also good.

We stopped for a later night snack and got french fries...as an fry aficionado, these were spectacular. I can't comment on any other food, but these were crisp w/ tender inside and perfectly salted.

This riverside restaurant in Milan's canal district offers classic ossobuco risotto and seafood tomato pasta, both of which are absolutely delicious!
The ossobuco was tender, the pasta was chewy, and even the grilled vegetables were satisfying!
The location is perfect, with a cool breeze, and it was a wonderful meal to sit on the waterfront!

We had dinner with a finely prepared cutlet and truffle and shrimp tinnarelli, accompanied by excellent bread and good wine. The service was impeccable, with a complimentary liqueur at the cashier after payment.
