Very atmospheric place overlooking the canal. We tried traditional Milanese dishes. Very tasty!

Nice atmosphere, very touristy, not suitable for business lunches. Slow service. From the type of environment, we expect something more.

If you are looking for a typical Milanese restaurant, very clean, tidy, with extremely friendly staff then you could try this restaurant... don't you believe it? I invite you to go! Tourists are welcome and treat you like people, not like chickens to be plucked!

The first time I went to eat at "BELLA RIVA" they took me there... I was satisfied with the good food and I went back and was able to confirm both the quality and the good service. The waiters are very welcoming and not at all intrusive. the atmosphere recalls the old Milanese trattorias but with a nice touch of elegance. the menu leaves you spoiled for choice!!! plates of the Lombard and non-Lombard traction. the first time we ate a tartare, a risotto with ossobuco (exquisite), polenta with mushrooms, the second time a Mondeghili artichoke salad (fabulous) accompanied by an amazing green sauce and a tasty and abundant Milanese risotto! in both experiences I was very satisfied with the quality of the food and the abundance of the dishes. There is also a good wine list. only thing, arm yourself with good patience because the wait is long, but it shows that the dishes are freshly prepared. a short: good value for money. I highly recommend it!!!

Cioccolata calda tipica, buona, patatine e taralli in accompagnamento piacevoli, ambiente un po' confusionario ma ben arredato.
