Beer Garden In Bardolino

Beautiful place on Lake Garda in Bardolino with excellent views. Courteous and very professional staff, excellent food, every time I return to Bardolino it is a must to return to the Beer Garden.

Very nice restaurant. The staff makes the effort to listen to you even though you speak no (or little) Italian. The meals are plentiful and extremely good.

The character of a beer garden... but a noble one. The food looks very tempting in the pictures in front of the restaurant and also on the menu... very far from a beer garden and then you are very surprised when the food comes and it looks exactly the same as the pictures. There was a pesto based on Frutti di mare... very tasty and very plentiful (but you can expect that at €20). The main course was Risotto Frutti di mare, which was very well prepared, and a fish platter. Both portions were sufficient. Beforehand there was a small greeting from the kitchen in the form of bread and stick crackers. Unfortunately, the main course came at different times, which gave the impression that we had forgotten a meal. A long 5 minutes later it was there. Therefore one star less. However, the table service was good and attentive. Overall, the view of the lake with the Mediterranean flair made up for everything and the spot was also nice and shady. So overall a good/better beer garden with the flair of Italy including Mediterranean cuisine. Of course there is also the typical pizza and pasta. You certainly have to take into account that there are always failures... especially in the service, as is well described in the reviews. However, giving only one star if you had to wait a long time for your food is difficult for me to understand and is also not realistic. Of course, waiting for a long time is always stupid and unpleasant, especially when you're hungry. So I don't want to diminish this disadvantage at all. However, you have to see the bigger picture here. I also deducted a star from the kitchen service because the food came at different times. But the rest was fine and it was a very relaxed dinner. The cutlery was placed in small sealed paper bags with a napkin, which could have been done differently. But that's a small deduction in the B grade and not worth mentioning. Maybe the Mediterranean flair has to be transferred to us guests first ;) For a “beer garden” a wonderful atmosphere and absolutely no classic beer garden flair. In that sense...Bon appetito.

The perfect place to enjoy the wonderful view of the lake, kind, attentive and fast staff. We had a great time!

Pranzo in una giornata caldissima! Posto ombreggiato e ventilato. Uno dei migliori risotti mai mangiati! Un cheeseburger favoloso! Sicuramente lo consiglio!

The view is great! Service was quick. We had there a small snack at lunch. Everyone was happy with the salads.

Somewhat isolated from the hustle and bustle. Very nice to sit and the view is great too. Food delicious 😋

Very idyllic location (under large trees) by the water with a great sunset atmosphere.

De locatie is echt uitstekend, je kijkt prachtig het Gardameer over. Ook niet onbelangrijk, we hebben er in 4 dagen 2 keer gegeten en beide avonden geen last gehad van ongedierte, zoals muggen of motten. Het personeel is vriendelijk en de service is ook erg goed. De pasta bolognese is echt een aanrader!
