Bebop Ristorante In Palermo

Looking for a starred restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, we came across this place: intimate atmosphere, music in the background, punctual and discreet service. The paccheri enchanted us and the tiramisu with coffee granita was unforgettable. A very pleasant discovery, we will return again.

Vi havde store forventninger til vores besøg. Måske for store. Restauranten kan findes i Michelin-guiden og dette er normalt en god rettesnor for kvalitet og helhedsoplevelse. Vi blev desværre skuffede. Man kan vælge forskellige menuer og vi valgte 5 retter, som skal være ens for hele bordet. Kort og godt kan man sige, at der er en god smag i retterne. De er dog alt for små. Vi var tre voksne mænd og nogle retter var bare en enkelt mundfuld. Ja selv hovedertten "pork belly" var så lille, at det mindede om en forret. Som sagt smager maden godt, men når det kommer til betjeningen, så har stedet meget at lære. De to tjenere var så uengagerede og specielt den mandlige tjener fremstod fuldstændig ligeglad. Der var ikke specielt travlt og når han ikke lige havde retter til servering hang han i baren. Ind i mellem gabte han og tyggede tyggegummi. Og så betjente han gæsterne i joggingbukser. Maden blev præsenteret uden engagement og han lirede ingredienserne af uden den mindste entusiasme. De tre stjerner giver vi for smagen af maden og ikke for resten af oplevelsen. PS: Jeg omtaler sjældent toiletterne. Men der manglede toiletbræt og det kan specielt kvinderne næppe have været tilfreds med.

Excellent antipasti and primi piatti with each bite bursting with flavor. Elegant plating. A nice find from the Michelin Guide. Thoughtful wine recommendations from the staff. Would absolutely return in the future

Ordered 3 course tasting menu and really enjoyed my meal here. You can choose any dish from the menu. Appetiser is The sea and the land, which is oyster with shredded artichoke, preserved lemon and eggnog, very fresh and full of flavours. Second course is Fish, seared on the outside and raw on the insude, beautifully cooked, really love the dried tomato on the side with acidity goes well with the fish. Dessert is their version of tiramisu, it’s more like a granita than traditional tiramisu so I was a bit disappointed, although I do enjoy the crunchy cookie. Service is great, and I enjoy the dimmed cozy dark ambience unlike some comments here. Portion is fairly light though, but enough for my small appetite with the bread.

I went to this restaurant four or five years ago, and it is to this day the best meal I’ve ever had.

Beautiful showcase of Sicilian products. Professional service, good music. Too bad the portions are so small and the bread refill 4 euro. With a little more generosity this restaurant could be really good.

Pur essendo uno dei miei locali del cuore, devo segnalare delle defaillances,come l' assenza di una carta vini, la quale mette a disagio il cliente, in scelte esigue e suggerite, con prezzi, purtroppo, posti verbalmente. Un servizio poco efficiente, ove un sommelier , reo di non aver fatto assaggiare il vino, lo ha servito direttamente; la maitre, non ha saputo conoscere cosa fosse il menage chiesto,assemblato al momento, né lasciato sul tavolo a disposizione dei conviviali, e la richiesta del pane da accompagnamento al secondo, tralaltro pagato, pur facente parte della voce "coperto". Incongruente rapporto qualità prezzo,smussato dalla scontistica The Fork prontamente applicata.

It's not my restaurant. The quality of the food was good, but not great, and I didn't like the concept. The two young waiters were courteous but not very direct and did not definitively recommend it to me. There was no wine list and I don't like this when I can choose between lighter wines and stronger wines.
