I don't know if it's legal to eat with this view at sunset, with very kind and attentive staff, food that's not exquisite, very fresh local fish of the highest quality at a very fair price. If I'm ever in the area again, this is definitely a place I'd happily return to, to say the least. Bravo!

Found it by chance by searching Google for "terrace." It's a wooden, stilt-style structure, partially overlooking the sea, so you can see and hear the waves (under the beams) crashing on the shore. The view of the sea and the horizon is stunning, especially at sunset, which you can enjoy until the last second, with the backdrop of the Egadi Islands...very beautiful. The staff is very helpful and attentive, so the service is more than good. Excellent food, with incredibly fresh seafood dishes inspired by traditional Sicilian cuisine, some with a modern twist, and a remarkable selection. The atmosphere is lovely, with soft (and diffuse) lighting and relaxing music (perhaps a little "vintage," but chic and pleasant to listen to), not too loud, but soft, allowing you to talk and listen. I will be back and highly recommend it.

If you read my reviews, you'll know I tend either to post glowing reviews or warnings. This is a glow. Stunning views of the Egadi Islands off the west coast of Sicily, tables set on a platform which stretches a few metres over the shallow waters of the bay. Food is of course pretty much all fresh fish and seafood, and excellent. I was a little surprised by the sudden appearance of a belly dancer on and off for half an hour. It's not cheap, but it's not outrageous. Treat yourselves!

Delicious food with generous portions (there were three of us, so we each had an appetizer, followed by a first course and two second courses. We were full by the end). The staff were kind and friendly. The wait between courses was average, not excessive. The location was stunning, perfect for taking beautiful photos. I highly recommend it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dream dinner practically on the water La Locanda sul Mare is one of those places that stays in your heart: a restaurant literally overlooking the water, with tables so close you can hear the sea breeze. The atmosphere is relaxing, authentic, and perfect for a special evening. I ordered the scorpionfish linguine, and it was simply perfect: intense flavors, a fragrant and well-balanced sauce, and the freshest fish taking center stage. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the portion generous. To accompany the dish, an excellent Cala Sulo from Tenute Parrinello, a fragrant, fresh, and very harmonious local white wine, ideal for enhancing seafood dishes. The service was impeccable, and Sebastiano deserves special mention, whose professionalism, courtesy, and ever-present smile made our experience even more enjoyable. An experience that combines quality cuisine and a unique location, suspended between sky and sea. Highly recommended. I will definitely be back.

A window onto the sea: If you want to eat while gazing at the sea, this is the place to be. Perfect location, friendly and knowledgeable staff, top-quality ingredients. The homemade gelato is wonderful.

Incredibly great view, restaurant right by the sea. Great atmosphere, nice and helpful waiter happy to advise, recommend and make sure everything was okay. I had fresh fish and my girlfriend had a mix of grilled seafood and both dishes were perfectly seasoned, tasty and amazingly fresh. We really enjoyed ourselves and finished it off with great coffee 😉😎
