Be Italian Restaurant In Seregno

We visited Be Italian in Seregno this evening and were truly thrilled. The restaurant is a little gem in the heart of Seregno: an intimate, refined atmosphere perfect for a romantic dinner, made even more welcoming by the subtle yet charming Christmas-themed decorations. We chose the tasting menu and completely relied on the chef and the wait staff, who proved to be knowledgeable, kind, and truly thorough in their explanations and pairings. Each course was a surprise, meticulously crafted in both appearance and flavor. The timing between each course was perfect: no waiting and a great pace that allowed us to enjoy the dinner from start to finish. We were satisfied right up until dessert, which capped off the evening impeccably. We'll definitely be back!

“Disappointing experience and never received a refund after a confirmed error” Review: I visited this restaurant on October 4th with friends, having recommended it based on very positive experiences in the past. Unfortunately, the evening was disappointing in many ways. After dinner, I reported to the restaurant a clear error on the bill: €560 for four eight-course tasting menus with six glasses of wine. The restaurant confirmed the error via WhatsApp and promised to refund me via bank transfer. Two months later, despite several messages, calls, and the sending of the IBAN, the refund (about €50) has never arrived, nor has even a simple apology, and I have not received a response. Culinary-wise, the experience was much inferior to the past (not to say a disaster): • less refined and less refined dishes; • simple paccheri with sauce, with no attention paid to the plating; • the creative elements that characterized the restaurant were eliminated; • only two amuse-bouches; • excessive use of coffee grounds that masked the flavors; • error in the management of intolerances, with raw fish being served to those who had explicitly asked to avoid it due to an intolerance. A particularly disappointing aspect is the new sales policy: the restaurant attracts customers with 50% discounts from TheFork, but simultaneously increases prices, making the discount only apparent. In our case, without the TheFork discount, we interpreted the bill as an oversight made in good faith, but the promised refund never issued—despite confirmation of the error—suggests that this is not an isolated case. It's a real shame, because in the past the restaurant offered a much higher standard and attentive service. In light of the experience and the failure to refund the amount owed, I can no longer recommend it and will evaluate possible action without further response.

The dishes are high-quality and the service is courteous. The portions, however, are very small.

A pleasant experience, but considering the way the dishes were presented and everything else, I found it overly exaggerated, as the flavor, compared to the titles with which it was presented, remained somewhat underexpressed. The experience overall was pleasant, but at times I found a certain discrepancy between the pompous descriptions of each ingredient and the fact that it also revealed potential in terms of flavor. The dining room manager who welcomed us was certainly competent, even if very formal.

I was there this evening and I have to say that everything was perfect: the food was high-quality and truly delicious, the atmosphere was intimate and peaceful, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful! I'll definitely be back. Try it and believe it.

Dishes with flavor combinations that are nothing short of ingenious, a comfortable and intimate atmosphere with beautiful background music, impeccable service, in short: fabulous.
