Wonderful regional cuisine; the farmer's cordon bleu with homemade potato salad was a dream. Attentive and super friendly service, and the value for money is second to none. A rustic atmosphere, with some of the benches and tables located directly on the farm, which is located just above Völlan.

Gasthaus Café Schneeweisshof

28/06/2025: Delicious food, friendly hosts, fresh food, and much of it served straight from the garden. You can taste it, too.
19/06/2025: The staff is courteous and polite. The view of Merano and the castle in Tyrol is outstanding. It is highly recommended.

Rifugio Pian Di Cengia - Büllelejochhütte

21/03/2025: A tour with fantastic views and a very cozy mountain hut, with very good home-made food. You can go from the Auronzohütte (arrival by bus from Dobbiaco) or from the Fischleintal (6-7 hours up and down). The panorama is second to none. The paths are easy to walk on and not dangerous (as long as they are free of ice).
