Baudolino In Alessandria

A truly wonderful experience on a Saturday from Ponte Lungo. I returned to a place where I spent a few months in the military, breathing in a bright, airy urban space. Here, where BarMaffei once stood, you'll find sandwich artists in a casual setting. The hours are like those of a neighborhood bar, not late at night. The atmosphere is normal but warm and welcoming. Here, it's all about substance. In the sandwich, you'll find the ability to combine ingredients wrapped in a crispy ciabatta. Well done, and a lovely conversation with the young, beautiful counter assistant. Dish.

Tried it on September 27th for lunch. The place is fairly basic, quiet, a typical bistro offering a wide selection of sandwiches and a few "dishes of the day" (starters, main courses, and sides) at a relatively reasonable price.
