A very welcoming and family-friendly restaurant with reasonable prices and reasonable parking at no extra cost. Very good food and generous portions; their soups (beans with pork rind, maltagliati and chickpeas, and battered pasta with cannellini beans), served in terracotta pots, are delicious. You can choose from a variety of tasting menus. The restaurant is welcoming and harmonious, with exposed brickwork and antique furniture.

It's been 30 years since I last went there, and then I forgot about it and was convinced it had closed... Instead, it's more open and vibrant than ever. The food is just as good as it was back then... From appetizers to first courses to meats, everything is delicious, well-cooked, and high-quality. The dishes are generous, and if you choose the set menu, it's only 30 euros. Service is prompt, and the waiters are very kind and open to changes. It's a shame it's closed for lunch on Saturdays, and it's always packed on Sundays; otherwise, we'd go more often.

Forget the pretensions and frills: here, the atmosphere is rustic, warm, and genuine—just like the cuisine served. The atmosphere evokes grandma's home, where conviviality is the first course. The quality-price ratio is, to say the least, extremely fair. Bastian Contrario is the ideal refuge for those seeking the authentic flavors of Romagna without filters. It's not a place for those chasing gourmet trends, but a temple for lovers of substance, tradition, and good, generous food. The soups alone are worth the trip to the Marecchiese. A MUST STOP!

I'm Moretti, and I discovered this restaurant as a child. I came back here at 49, and the quality is still the same. The first courses, meat, and piadina are truly superb. I'll be back for as long as I live.

Everything was great. Returned after about twenty years. Welcoming place. Romagna food. Generous portions. Very good meat and vegetables. Infinitely refillable wine and water. Recommended.

Piada e Cassoni da Ciana e Monda

28/10/2025: The cassone and piadina were good, but I was sick all night, so I hope it was a fluke because I'd read reviews about the excellent quality and was hesitant. I ordered the same cassone and piadina two days later at another place and didn't have the same problem. The atmosphere is a bit strange. Since we were tourists, we didn't know about the reservation, and they were a bit annoyed by our order.
14/10/2025: Delicious piadina, truly handmade according to tradition by the sdore. The ladies are kind and very helpful. I highly recommend it.

08/12/2025: We made an early reservation for dinner, at 7:30 PM on a Saturday evening. A couple of tables were occupied at the same time. After a while, it filled up. We ordered 1) mixed crostini (bruschetta) appetizer: very good. There were: with zucchini, eggplant, sausage and peppers, mushrooms, cream cheese, and another with cherry tomatoes. 2) cheese-filled ravioli on creamed potato soup. Very good. 3) off-menu: thick bean soup with pasta. Very good. 4) mixed grilled meat (can be ordered for two). From the reviews, it seemed like a special dish, but honestly, I preferred everything else. It was plentiful, though. 5) deviled chicken, good. 6) scamorza with gratinated vegetables. This was also very tasty. You can find it in the vegetarian options. 7) pan-fried herbs. Good. 1 bottle of water, 1 Fanta, half a liter of house red, a liqueur. The bread basket was filled with piadina. 4 diners for a total of €130. I hope to return soon. Very positive. The service was quick and attentive.
05/12/2025: I had a great time at this restaurant. They had bean soup with passatelli off the menu. Fabulous.
