I loved this place. I organized a table for 13 with a full menu from the "Bastian contrario" (the opposite). The service was fast, the staff exceptional. The food was well-proportioned and delicious, and I also liked the atmosphere. The parking was large and convenient; we were all happy!

A very welcoming and family-friendly restaurant with reasonable prices and reasonable parking at no extra cost. Very good food and generous portions; their soups (beans with pork rind, maltagliati and chickpeas, and battered pasta with cannellini beans), served in terracotta pots, are delicious. You can choose from a variety of tasting menus.
The restaurant is welcoming and harmonious, with exposed brickwork and antique furniture.

It's been 30 years since I last went there, and then I forgot about it and was convinced it had closed... Instead, it's more open and vibrant than ever. The food is just as good as it was back then... From appetizers to first courses to meats, everything is delicious, well-cooked, and high-quality. The dishes are generous, and if you choose the set menu, it's only 30 euros. Service is prompt, and the waiters are very kind and open to changes. It's a shame it's closed for lunch on Saturdays, and it's always packed on Sundays; otherwise, we'd go more often.

The quality-price ratio is, to say the least, extremely fair. Bastian Contrario is the ideal refuge for those seeking the authentic flavors of Romagna without filters. It's not a place for those chasing gourmet trends, but a temple for lovers of substance, tradition, and good, generous food. The soups alone are worth the trip to the Marecchiese. A MUST STOP!
