It's expensive, but worth it, especially if you have intolerances, allergies, or special needs. The flavors are excellent, and for someone like me who rarely treats to gelato, being able to eat such good quality is a joy.

DEAR DEAR I was struck by the list of "Gambero Rosso" awards, and I had to stop by. I was immediately struck by the list of flavors labeled "special +€0.70"; the problem is that almost half of the flavors are like that, so you're already a bit confused. I admit that my curiosity for flavors like "Stracchino and Turmeric" or "Red Lentils and Blackberries" is immediately piqued, but I tried the classics first to fully understand the quality. It's nice to be able to read the ingredients and origin on the flavor labels. But let's get to the point: I tried the pistachio, dark chocolate, and whole milk with sour cherries, and they all had the same problem: a lack of flavor. This was too surprising, so I also tried the coconut Cremino, and that had the same problem. Also, €4.50 for a medium-sized cup the size of a child's hand seems really excessive, so the quality/price ratio is truly unreasonable. Honestly, I was very, very disappointed!

Such amazing vegan ice cream!! We were delighted by the range of flavours available to us and the ice cream itself was so delicious- reasonable price too!

An amazing gelateria. Original flavors, countless, and all delicious. There are options for vegans, those with intolerances, and even healthy gelato—but with a flavor that never leaves you feeling like something's missing. You can taste the attention to every detail, from the choice of ingredients to the perfect creaminess. Every time I go, I discover a new flavor that surprises me. Basium is that place where gelato truly makes you happy.

Per noi Basium è diventato un appuntamento fisso tutte le volte che ci troviamo a Civitanova. Gusti strepitosi, materie prime eccellenti, ricerca e innovazione, particolare attenzione a chi cerca gusti vegani o senza lattosio o ipocalorici (ma non mancano i gusti più tradizionali per chi non è soggetto a particolari regimi dietetici). Chiaro, l’eccellenza si paga: non è un gelato economico (si parte da 3,50 € per cono/coppetta piccoli, ma le porzioni sono abbondanti), alcuni gusti sono preparati con materie prime talmente ricercate da costare un +0,70€ di supplemento (ma ci si può limitare ai gusti “standard”) e l’acquisto di una vaschetta può diventare realmente impegnativo. In conclusione, se siete abituati ad accontentarvi di gelati finto-artigianali, spacciati tout court come artigianali, allora Basium non fa sicuramente per voi. Se invece apprezzate un gelato particolare, il gusto delle materie prime freschissime, a km zero, se avete intolleranze alimentari o siete vegani ecc. allora vi innamorerete di questa gelateria! Dovrebbe esserci un Basium in ogni città.
