I was in Sorrento on May 1st and the tour guide on the bus recommended Basilico to us as a stopover.
Nice, welcoming and spacious place, friendly waiters, menu with different choices and excellent service.
We took paccheri with aubergines, ravioli filled with ricotta with pesto, provolone etc and rude pizza with potatoes and sausage plus a beer, 1 coke, 1 water and 2 place settings for a total of 52 euros which isn't even much for staying in Sorrento.
Fair prices and all good food.
I would go back with my eyes closed and recommend booking.
It is located near the center of Sorrento (Piazza Tasso).

We noticed this pizzeria while doing research to find a nice place to have dinner. The place is very unique in how it is set up, an immersion of colors that is pleasing. We had booked and sat down immediately, but we waited a while between taking our orders and being served. We tried a first course and a pizza and I must say that we were both satisfied, nothing to say, and I would recommend it both for eating pasta and for eating pizza. The bill was normal.

The staff is extremely helpful and professional.
The ingenuity of having created a restaurant on the ground floor of a cinema theater, currently closed, is to be admired.

Hands down, the best Italian food I’ve ever had! Even my picky eaters were won over by the gnocchi and carbonara pasta. A truly authentic Italian experience—and all at a great price.

Address recommended by my host, and I don't regret having followed his advice because the pizza is absolutely excellent. When I come to the region, I usually stop in Naples just to eat a pizza because I have a very good address there, but that will no longer be necessary!
I didn't try the desserts, being more than full.
