This gem is located on a very busy street, but its front porch makes it a little more sheltered from the chaos of the road. It offers mainly vegan and vegetarian dishes, in different combinations. There are two menu options that change every day. I‘m vegan and I often come here with colleagues on lunch break from the hospital, always to find delicious and savory recipes cooked with seasonal ingredients. I don‘t really know how it‘s like on rush hour but I‘ve never had to wait long for my food. The setup is nothing fancy, designed for lunch/dinner break, but the food really makes it worth it. It also offers many breakfast and brunch options. Strongly recommended for any veggie foodies in the area

Basilico is my go-to place when I'm at Sant'Orsola Hospital for work. Knowing I can have lunch there makes my day!

Good food, friendly service, and quick service. Good value. The atmosphere is simple and spartan, but pleasant. It would be nice to be able to eat with traditional plates and cutlery instead of disposable compostable ones.

I ordered a vegan birthday cake (filled with custard and chocolate chips, topped with whipped cream) for 10-12 people: truly delicious, delicate, indulgent, and generous. The price was fair for the quality and ingredients. I'll be back to try the lunch options and other desserts!
