Excellent drinks, always very good food, Eleonora smiling and kind as always...! The reason for the 3 stars? Only the price tag: the aperitivo went from €10 for a main course to €12 for a soft drink. I understand the price increases, but aperitivos are becoming more and more expensive, so they're not as frequent as they used to be. It's still one of my favorite places.

14/10/2025: Republic in Gallarate offers a different take on the traditional aperitivo. For €11, you can get a cocktail plus a mixed platter with sushi. The atmosphere is modern and welcoming (I'd improve the lighting), perfect for an evening with friends. They also offer à la carte dishes; the grilled spaghetti is very good. The service is courteous and professional, and the prices are average. For those looking for a different aperitivo with a bit of sushi to nibble on, Republic in Gallarate is definitely a recommended and original choice!

11/10/2025: Superb food. It's a shame we had to wait a bit, but it's understandable since it's Sunday. It was all overshadowed by the excellent food!
