BASE Tapas Bar & Shop In Cagliari

A nice Sunday lunch. All delicious, we had 2 delicious appetizers (octopus in black with truffle, egg frattau) and then fregola with lobster and carbonara with truffle, a really nice alternative... Service ok, waiting times normal, very nice location, although I would have liked some coat hangers. Overall a nice experience.

Stavo passeggiando in corso Vittorio Emanuele alla ricerca di un posticino in cui cenare, quando l'ingresso e il menù di questo bel ristorante hanno attirato la mia attenzione. Ho cenato nell'atmosfera intima, calda e accogliente del Base, mangiando degli squisiti culurgiones alla carbonara, bevendo dell'ottimo Vermentino e chiudendo con cheesecake ai frutti di bosco e crema di Mirto: è stata una cena perfetta. Il cibo è ottimo (assolutamente da provare) ed il servizio attento, cortese e accogliente. I gestori sono gentili, sorridenti, simpatici e all'avanguardia, ogni settimana propongono un menù che unisce i piatti della tradizione sarda alle specialità regionali del resto d'Italia, creando delle vere prelibatezze. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è assolutamente onesto. Insomma, un posto in cui ritornare che lo consiglio vivamente!

We were passing by looking for a place to have lunch, it was around 14:00, so pretty much late, we saw this place and feeling in the mood, we decided to try it. The service was fast due to the fact that we were the only table at that time. We opted for the Taste Manu of 20€ which allows you to taste different small plates of food. If you are very hungry and want to fill the stomach don’t take this menu, it is more a gourmet experience than a full lunch. Even tho, food very delicious, unique tastes and interesting combinations of flavors. Good place if you want something light and feel a little bit fancy. Dessert was exquisite. Nice toilet.
