We were passing by looking for a place to have lunch, it was around 14:00, so pretty much late, we saw this place and feeling in the mood, we decided to try it. The service was fast due to the fact that we were the only table at that time.
We opted for the Taste Manu of 20€ which allows you to taste different small plates of food. If you are very hungry and want to fill the stomach don’t take this menu, it is more a gourmet experience than a full lunch. Even tho, food very delicious, unique tastes and interesting combinations of flavors.
Good place if you want something light and feel a little bit fancy.
Dessert was exquisite.

I visited Base near the city center in Cagliari. They offer a nice selection of typical Italian and Sardinian dishes. We tried the picanha steak and octopus leg. While the portions were decent, I was disappointed with the flavors. The meat was well-cooked but lacked taste, and the octopus was too soft and overly salty. On a positive note, the service was good.

We tried four of 5 appetizers and pasta for 20 euros. The set was interesting. There were 4 of us and between each appetizer we waited about 10-15 minutes. The egg appetizer was a bit disappointing. But the waiter was very kind and apologized for the wait. I think it's better to go for the main course if you're not too keen on experimenting.

I was at the end of August with my family and we ate, even with a little extra food, "land" dishes: fresh, tasty and digestible food without problems. Honest prices. I will return and recommend it.

So… the decor is nice, the waitress is angry and the carbonaras are not good at all… too salty, too al dente and it’s bathed in egg yolk… and so I don’t want to try a dessert

Small establishment in the Corso. No unpleasant surprises (neither good nor bad). Great option for eating out, quite quick and flexible.

D'un premier abord, le lieu et le personnel très accueillant. Moment agréable. Pour les plats, très bon même si j'aurais aimé en avoir un peu plus (gourmandise). Le café est bon, le prix correct. Une déception quand même, le pain est facturé à 2 euros l'unité (petit), le vin bouchonné. Ça reste une bonne adresse.

Extraordinary food way above the average tourist restaurants on the same street.
Delicious, authentic pasta dishes and sea food. Good wine. Lovely service. Beef tartare was divine.
