Barred In Roma

The dishes are carefully prepared, not banal, and the menu changes based on the availability of ingredients (I tasted the best gazpacho I've ever had!). The portions may be a bit limited... I like the atmosphere, especially the soft lighting, which often clashes with the completely out-of-place music. The wines are limited but good, with a few special treats worth trying. Recommended.

Very good food and young, friendly service. However... the biggest flaw, in my opinion, is the wine list. You can't have 3 or 4 red wines for €28/30 and then go up to €50 minimum. The list is completely unbalanced. The same goes for the whites. Another thing that needs to be changed, in my opinion: the red lights, which completely alter the view of what you're eating and create a sleepy atmosphere. Considering the high prices, I'd go back for an aperitif but not for dinner.

What a jewel of place. Using locally sourced ingredients in modern combinations produces truly delicious, maybe even daring, dishes that satisfy and delight. Paired with any number of interesting wines (we had a bottle of an bio-orange wine produced close to Rome and we finished with a good Sidra cider from Spain), you will be delighted if you are looking for something beyond the traditional pasta fare found in most restaurants.

Refined, quality food, good beer, and a warm welcome. It's worth a visit and a careful look at the menu before making your choice: enjoy!

A small restaurant near Re di Roma with outdoor dining options. The staff are all very friendly, and the service is more than adequate. As for the menu, I'd say it's very interesting. The wine pairing by the glass is truly interesting and excellent value.

Barred is an urban and minimal place. The simplicity of the furnishings allows the kitchen to stand out and be the absolute protagonist. The menu, always different, is constantly evolving according to seasonal ingredients, often belonging to distant culinary traditions and capable of giving the dishes a cosmopolitan character: every bite is a journey around the world while remaining a stone's throw from San Giovanni

Tasty unusual dishes with many vegetarian options. A nice wine list with many organic wines from the region. The service was friendly and attentive. Only the music was quite loud inside and because the floor was made of tiles, the acoustics were not that good.
