A nice place close enough to the sea, for those occasions when you've had enough of fish and quick meals, because here... You eat meat.
The simple environment but with some details in the right place, like the fridges with meat on display at the entrance, really suggestive. The very friendly staff a little inattentive to the customer, but nothing sensational, service in general a little slow and cumbersome for an appetizer we waited over 20 minutes and it was a simple cutting board, not to mention the 15 minute wait for the coffee.
But apart from that... The food: everything was good, particular attention to the carbonara which was truly 10 (if I were to nitpick I would have preferred it a little creamier, but really trifles) you could tell it was well prepared because even if you didn't take the guanciale, the pasta alone had all the flavors. The coarsely chopped pepper was also appreciated.
The tagliata, neither good nor bad, good meat and cooked strictly rare. The tar tar didn't leave me with any particular emotion, but the pesto was really good, maybe even too tasty considering that it is eaten alone (without pasta, to be clear). The bill is honest, obviously if you eat meat you can't expect to spend €20 but you can also get the pizza (which looked good)

The Barracuda pizzeria restaurant in Marina di Cecina is a place where the Tuscan culinary tradition combines with a welcoming and informal environment. The grilled meats are prepared with skill and accompanied by fresh and tasty side dishes. Furthermore, the location of the restaurant is adjacent to the tombolo reserve and a few meters from the sea.
Barracuda is a great choice for dinner after a day at the beach.
The prices are excellent. In summary, if you are in Marina di Cecina and are looking for a good place to eat, the Barracuda pizzeria, restaurant and arms is definitely worth a visit.

Locale semplice con buona scelta di carne ma anche con piatti di pesce e primi . Ottime anche le pizze. Abbiamo infatti provato in due occasioni diverse sia le pizze che la cucina e siamo rimasti sempre soddisfatti. Servizio buono e simpatico grazie alla presenza del proprietario ottimo intrattenitore.

I had lunch with colleagues a few times in this restaurant, we were away on business and instead of eating the usual sandwich we decided to treat ourselves well, and expectations were definitely met! Excellent first courses, both the white ragù and the carbonara were superlative. Wide choice of pizzas also for lunch. We didn't try the meat, which seems to be their strong point, but the premises are excellent. Very friendly and approachable staff, in pure Livorno style. Correct prices, ample free parking available, also with a charging station for electric cars. We'll be back on our next trip!

A very nice surprise during our stay in Volterra, exceptional meat, very very good chianti (il Matto), a boss like the wine (an exceptional Matto) that is to say a happy fool who gives this restaurant an atmosphere that makes you want to come back every day. Après avoir mangé une pizza en rentrant d'une balade en bord de mer, nous avions décidé de revenir un soir pour goûter les viandes que propose Michele . L'accueil ce jour là nous à vraiment séduit et le patron est à l'image de son splendide "Il Matto" c'est à dire un fou joyeux 🤣 , non je plaisante.
Nous avons mangé une côte de bœuf d'origine du Danemark , une première pour nous , c'est une viande exceptionnelle. Nous reviendrons fin d'année 2025 pour goûter encore plus les produits d'exception de Michele. Si vous passez par Cecina retenez cette adresse.

After three years I returned to this place to once again enjoy the best meat I have ever eaten in my life! Steaks cooked to perfection and the owner very friendly and knowledgeable! Thank you for this amazing dining experience! I'm from Turin but I hope to end up in Cecina again.
