Starting your day in Padua with breakfast at this café puts you in a good mood. Aside from the huge and delicious croissants with cream, pistachios, and jam, the owner's friendliness (to be honest, I'm not sure if the person who served me was the owner or an employee, but it doesn't matter) makes you feel right at home even if you've never been there before.

We really enjoyed an informal meal here on a Monday night when the town was quiet and most restaurants were closed. The food was local, authentic and tasty. There are plenty of drinks to choose from and the place felt friendly and welcoming.
