A wonderful weekend. Il Barone Rosso is nestled in the Bolognese countryside, just a stone's throw from Bologna and Modena. The farmhouse is beautiful and has a quaint restaurant where we ate amazing pizza while listening to live music. The room was spacious and equipped with every comfort. The owners were super kind and helpful. I will definitely be back.

17/02/2026: If you want to eat out in Bologna after hours, this is the place for you. The polpetti alla Luciana are highly recommended. Despite first impressions, it's not a super cheap place, but the quality of the food is there, and so is the price.
