A fun and quirky little place in an area of Sirmione that's almost central but less noisy.
Musical instruments for traveling musicians, pastries, and a charming owner with amusing anecdotes for everyone. In a Sirmione that's focused solely on hit-and-run tourism and profit, this is an oasis of friendliness, professionalism, and kindness.
Purposely picked this place out due to the negative reviews of racism facism and sexism (myself and my girlfriend were doing a pub crawl of sorts and were curious if it was true). We went around 6 or so and it was quiet we sat down and the owner greeted us in a friendly manner and took our order. No complaints drink wise, a lot of the negative reviews comment on food which we didnt have so perhaps thats why we had a more enjoyable experience. The owner did strike up conversation with us, we discussed him moving from milan and how he is an avid jazz player and previous heavy weight boxer. He invited us back during the high season where he hosts jazz nights and gave us a tour. He did mention that he also has some more risqué nights on (this might be the beginnings of said sexism however my girlfriend who is normally very pc was not offended by the connotations) all and all an enjoyable experience and the owner insisted that the food was delicious, and offered a “no like no pay” arrangement. Rhe only thing i can say is in terms of food is the crisps were stale, but the owner did offer myself a glass of barrique free of charge which was enjoyable
Bar Bistro and shop, near the large car park. Perfect for a quick lunch outside the crowds of Sirmione. Efficient service and good food, highly recommended.
