I've lost count of how many times I've stopped at Bar Baribaldi when I'm in downtown Genoa. It's one of those places you know you can walk into without fear, because it's always worth it. The Campari Spritz was excellent, and the burrata, mortadella, and pistachio sandwich was a pleasant surprise. Quality ingredients, everything very fresh, and a combination that was perfect. It simply doesn't disappoint. The service is always very friendly, and the atmosphere is great for taking a break in the middle of the day. Whenever I'm downtown, I'll definitely be back!

5 stars for consolation because I just saw the other reviews... The owners are so nervous, you can tell they're not having a good time. I regretted asking (privately) if they'd made a mistake with the bill. 42 euros for 2 sandwiches (7 x 3 = €21), 1 beer €5, 2 waters €3, 1 cutlet, 2 coffees, to my private inquiry that I thought the bill was wrong. In the end, it was the 6 cannolini (which I forgot on the table) because the owners chased me out of the place with unusual agitation. They're not having a good time. They're very tense. I prevented them from calling the police, otherwise they would have ended up in compulsory medical treatment. What a shame, the sandwich is unique. I hope they can find some peace of mind, especially for themselves. These unusual tensions are something more. Best regards, hoping everything gets resolved soon.

EVERYTHING PERFECT AND EXCELLENT

A month ago, I was in Genoa on vacation with the MSC cruise ship. My guide took us to Via Garibaldi, one of the most beautiful streets in Europe. I stopped for a quick lunch and had an excellent panino with melted tomino cheese, salad, honey, and walnuts. Highly recommended, as the sandwiches are made fresh with all fresh ingredients.

QUALITY, QUANTITY, CLEANLINESS. A well-deserved five stars! I was impressed by the attention to detail: the place is spotless and tidy. The quality of the ingredients is evident in every bite, and the quantities are truly satisfying. Barbara and Claudio are extremely kind and hospitable. I also really appreciated their flexibility and availability with the hours from breakfast to dinner. They were also very quick in serving our dishes. THE BEST BAR IN GENOA! Highly recommended!

I went for an aperitivo with some colleagues. The spritz was delicious, with both Campari and Aperol available. The tramezzini were very good, highly recommended.

I had a cappuccino yesterday morning, and it was delicious, as were the brioche and focaccia. The guy at the counter was very nice and polite.
