Cocktail bar with lunch menu, excellent first and second courses, and excellent aperitif cocktails in the evening. The staff is very attentive and ready to satisfy every need. Highly recommended.

Thank you for such incredible hospitality! ❤️ A wonderful, very atmospheric place where I was treated like a friend, despite not speaking the language. I'm so sorry I was only passing through, because if I stayed longer, I would definitely come back every day. Definitely worth a visit! :)

Barbana Cafe is a must visit when in Viareggio! The staff were so accommodating and friendly. They welcomed 10 of us at short notice and showed us the most wonderful hospitality - nothing was a problem! The food was divine but really it was the people working there that made the experience ❤️❤️. We will be back!! Thank you ☺️

Este es un gran pequeño café / bar de vinos. Maurizio es un anfitrión maravilloso. Nos llevó a través de la carta de vinos y tuvimos algunos vinos encantadores. También comimos un plato de pequeños sándwiches de ciabatta tostados. Una gran manera de pasar una hora y media. Espero visitar de nuevo - gracias, Mauricio. David

We sat at Maurizio’s Barbana cafe for almost 2 hours this evening. The wines were great, the small toasted sandwiches delicious. Maurizio is a lovely host - took me through the wines and we tried quite a few! Hope to visit again. Thanks, Maurizio.

09/09/2025: We got married last Saturday, September 6th. What can I say? It was a wonderful experience, a wonderful location, and a wonderful staff. Doriana, who was with us from the beginning, was always super helpful, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. We had a truly wonderful time and created the wedding we'd always dreamed of. Thank you so much ❤️

17/08/2025: The venue and menu are highly original, yet the atmosphere is still very pleasant. The menu isn't for everyone because there are limited options, so if you have limited tastes, it might be difficult to find something you like. The service, though informal, was impeccable and fast. We had tagliolini with clams and casoncelli with butter and sage, both delicious. The desserts are also very good.
