Very nice and intimate place, lovely staff. The kitchen has a homely touch that makes it extremely comfortable, and the quality-price ratio is at the highest levels. We return and will return here every time we come up from Rome!

I came twice and both times I had a great meal. I really like that there are variations on the menu every time. Very useful is the fact that you can also choose half a portion of first course.
I highly recommend the tajarin with butter, anchovies and Jerusalem artichokes.
The place is very small so I recommend booking.

Small piola in the San Salvario district.
The service is friendly, the menu is displayed on a large blackboard.
Fixed dishes and some off the menu.
What is rare and very welcome, they do half portions, which are still relatively generous (the first course in other places would easily be considered a full portion).
Good ingredients and everything freshly made.
Two half portions of first course, a whole second course and dessert + 1/2 liter of water = €31.50.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 👌🏻

Small tavern with a good selection of wines, a few tables for which reservations are absolutely necessary and very courteous and helpful wait staff. The menu varies and the dishes are absolutely pleasant and in some cases even original. The tajarin with anchovy butter and Jerusalem artichokes are excellent, as are the agnolotti with bra cooked in Barbera and the trio of starters. Really congratulations!

trattoria tipica in san salvatio , calca e accogliente . locale minuscolo , forse fin troppo affollato . tavoli con piano in marmo ,tovagliette in carta , sedie in legno come vuole la tradizione . ottima la selezione di antipasti piemontesi . insalata russa da manuale . squsiti gli agnolotti al barbera . tagliolini al burro croccanti e gustosi . buon servizio . prezzo onesto 25 euro a persona . bagno pulito ma un po' da rivedere .

Intercettata dopo attenta ricerca per rimanere in zona casa, ecco la Piola dei tuoi desideri! Ambiente unico nella sua ricercata semplicità, pochi tavoli in spazi un po’ ristretti, menù di primi e secondi corto e con le mezze porzioni ma eccellente, più scelta negli antipasti. Abbiamo assaggiato diverse portate (vedi foto) tutte squisite. Conto un filino sopra le righe, forse per i liquori di accompagnamento ai dolci. Comunque fortemente consigliata
