We already knew it was a "special" place, but the fact that over time everything was only amplified was pure magic.
A small, well-kept space, where the feeling upon entering is like stepping back in time. Checkered tablecloths, sparkling glasses, and meticulously ironed and folded napkins...
Saturday evening: no menu, just Tony's expert explanation, detailing the two types of menus, meat or fish.
Homemade bread, no pre-packaged or processed products, just the mastery of the chef kneading and baking amazing bread.
A "small" space with soft lighting, a few tables, and only the energy and knowledge of the raw materials behind each dish he presented to us.
We were six friends, and each of us replied: this deserves to be in the top five of places to eat well in the area.
Reservations are recommended; in fact, I highly recommend booking and spending a wonderful evening with your friends, because in addition to Tony, his wife will be there to welcome you, and with her sweetness and infinite patience, she will accompany you on this culinary journey.

We stumbled upon this small, super-cozy restaurant by chance, and it was a pleasant discovery.

It was a very pleasant surprise. I had the distinct feeling of having met someone driven by a sincere passion for what they do, and in my opinion, that's no small thing. The dishes are uncommon, quite sophisticated but affordable even for someone like me. The person is very pleasant, both in terms of service and conversation, never intrusive. With my wife: two tasting menus (3 courses) with a bottle of wine and water, two coffees, €100—rarely spent so willingly.

A pure gem. After coming to Barabba, I only want to visit restaurants in no need of a menu, where the offering is fresh, inspired, and not constrained or predicted merely by what you’ve encountered before.
The thinly sliced manzo + zucchine pate in particular was delightful, and may have changed my mind/palate on those pastrami sandwiches from back home (NY) ☺️ This is what a restaurant experience should be - an unfussy but elevated time for you to be reacquainted with how delicious and nourishing dining should be.
