It was a very pleasant surprise. I had the distinct feeling of having met someone driven by a sincere passion for what they do, and in my opinion, that's no small thing. The dishes are uncommon, quite sophisticated but affordable even for someone like me. The person is very pleasant, both in terms of service and conversation, never intrusive. With my wife: two tasting menus (3 courses) with a bottle of wine and water, two coffees, €100—rarely spent so willingly.

A pure gem. After coming to Barabba, I only want to visit restaurants in no need of a menu, where the offering is fresh, inspired, and not constrained or predicted merely by what you’ve encountered before.
The thinly sliced manzo + zucchine pate in particular was delightful, and may have changed my mind/palate on those pastrami sandwiches from back home (NY) ☺️ This is what a restaurant experience should be - an unfussy but elevated time for you to be reacquainted with how delicious and nourishing dining should be.

Hospitality at its best. Here everything is freshly created and cooked with know-how and professional pride. Italianità that you can hardly find anymore and smells tempting as soon as you enter the small restaurant. The food is simple, delicious and perfectly cooked. Someone here knows his craft. We had lunch at midday, truly a surprise, the homemade pasta was super, like everything else.
We will definitely be back, maybe in the evening, in fact, certainly since we were in a rush at midday.

Piccolino e in una località anonima ma assolutamente di classe! A pranzo scelta tra 2-3 antipasti e 2-3 primi, tutti eccellenti! Scelta tra menù pesce e menù carne, manca forse un’opzione veg .
Cucina ricercata ed elegante, impiattamento curatissimo, il gestore fa tutto lui, molto accogliente e gentile. Prezzo onesto, almeno a mezzogiorno (antipasto primo acqua e caffè 22-23 euro).
