Bar Volta In Como

Suitable for having a few drinks.

We went to this bar to watch the football final because it was one of the only bars that allowed it. The waiters were overwhelmed, and it didn't match the moment. Luckily, the crowd was friendly.

We had a great time at Caffe Alessandra Volta. You get exactly what you pay for. As seasoned Italy travellers we wanted a typical bar/bistro place - unpretentious with drinks, panini, and pizza. The place delivers exactly that. It is not one of the high end places in Como where you pay for atmosphere and view. It is an Italian bistro where you can sit down for a quick coffee, get it within minutes, and set off again. We will come back exactly for that.

Aperitif only if you want to drink. Not to eat.

One star deducted due to the construction site next door, although the café isn't to blame. Great spot with beautiful buildings surrounding it. Delicious paninis for around €7 and a good cappuccino for around €4.

A little scalded by the previous comments, but ultimately not so bad. It's more of a bar that serves snacks. Pizza and piadinas are decent for the price. Convenient for lunch while exploring the city. Pleasant environment.

Good coffee in the center of Como, five-star location, but service that needs improvement a bit, slightly slow and confusing. The prices are also in line with a highly sought-after restaurant segment, however what is offered is of an average level, so I find a bit of discrepancy. However, the location right on Piazza Volta with the tables overlooking it are absolutely worth a visit, I'm sure that over time they will make me increase my rating by improving small things such as the aperitif service

Very good for aperitivo. We had one godmother and one aperol and they were delicious. They also served as some snacks during happy hour

Could add more options for pizza and pasta. Found it lacked food options. Ordered a pizza and a pasta. Taste wise was good. Overall a decent place!

Good food, great price for “Lake Como”, Boa Vista! I loved it!
