Bar Veneruso In Sorrento

I loved this place when I visited Sorrento last week. It was my favourite for ice cream.

We sat down for coffee and two desserts that were really really not tasty, tiramisu and cannoli that felt really industrial. Not tasty at all. Everything looked very impressive and attractive in the shop window but what we tried was not tasty. Coffee and Aperol Spritz were very good

Stopped here just for an Aperol Spritz, and it was good. Service was quick.

A bar where they make exceptional desserts. The service is also impeccable, and they even have tables outside along Corso Italia. Recommended!

We were encouraged to go to the rooftop terrace. It was pleasant, clean and smelt of fresh linen. Our waitress was attentive at first but as it got busier she had too many tables and we were waiting longer. The single speaker playlist music went through a range of genres and placings! The food was all delicious - veal steaks, salmon and beef. Portion sizes very good. Ask about meal accompaniments as we ordered unnecessary extra chips when the meal came with diced potatoes not mentioned on the menu. Desserts were very tasty, particularly the tiramisu. Overall very good. May return (not decided yet).

I absolutely loved this place. This was our breakfast place for the duration of our stay in Sorrento. We were there six days, and every morning started at this place. We tried different dishes, and tried to mix and match. I am a vegetarian, and my traveling companion is not. Making any dish vegetarian, was no problem at all. What left a lingering memory was the quality of the food and especially the great service. Our usual server Pepe stuck out from the crowd; he was service minded, kind, funny and very effective. All the servers were super sweet, helpful and quick too, and everyone spoke english. The menu included a variety of local and international dishes, combos, pastries etc. And oh my gosh, the coffee..... delicious! Best in Sorrento that we had, at least (tried esspresso at maybe 5 places) The interior is quite modern, fresh, clean, and yet quite cozy, it even preserves its old feeling from its early days from 1930, with some ceramic tiling, architecture and furniture. I could say a lot more, but I recommend that anyone who goes to Sorrento and stays near the center, should have a visit.

A lovely place located along the main street in Sorrento. We went for a dessert and a coffee. There was such a variety of desserts that it was very difficult to choose. And I must say, we were very happy with our choice. Highly recommended.
