When I go to Ribera, there's a must-stop: Bar Turano. Here I find the best arancini; more than arancini, they're true bombs that explode in your mouth with all their flavor, from the meat ones to the prosciutto ones. Not to mention the Genovese with cream. With the first bite, you immediately find cream and chocolate in your mouth. A true delight for the palate.

The best arancini I've ever eaten (I'm Sicilian). They're worth the three euros you pay for each one, as they're large and very well-filled. I've seen the price go up over time, but I understand that's the case with everything, and these arancini are excellent, often much better than other arancini that are a little less expensive. Furthermore, having frequented the place for some time, I've noticed that the flavors offered, beyond the classics (meat, butter, and spinach), have varied over time, adding new options. And the place, which in addition to arancini also offers other excellent delis and pastries, has renovated itself over time, improving the interior and exterior, and allowing you to enjoy an excellent aperitivo on the premises, featuring the deli-style deli.

So good 👍 It's always a pleasure to stop for ice cream, arangino, or pizza at Turano. I highly recommend it; you won't be disappointed. 😋 However, if you're coming with a large group, please order the desired quantity in advance by phone.

13/09/2025: A culinary stroke of luck in the alleys of Licata By a stroke of luck, our search for a good restaurant in the winding alleys of Licata led us to Pepe and Chiara's. We almost didn't get in, as there was a slight misunderstanding with the charming chef, Pepe, at the door – fortunately, everything was quickly and cordially resolved. The restaurant is small and cozy, with a maximum of 20 seats and a lovingly decorated atmosphere that perfectly matches Pepe's creative cuisine. Chiara welcomes guests with a warm, pleasant manner, which further enriches the visit. You can choose between a 4- or 6-course menu – we opted for the 4-course menu, accompanied by an excellent red Syrah. The wine selection is excellent and pairs wonderfully with the dishes. The prices may be high, but the quality and professionalism are well worth it. In the end, we were completely satisfied.
05/08/2025: Lo stile e l’accoglienza di un’osteria, ma cibo di altissima qualità. Ci siamo sentiti ospiti a casa di amici. Abbiamo assaggiato piatti elaborati e buonissimi che combinano la materia prima siciliana con tecniche innovative e creative. Veramente eccellente!

15/11/2025: This is a very special restaurant. Menu changes daily based on the availability of fresh ingredients. Service is perfect. Chef cares about his food. Cannot recommend this place though. Enjoyed with an Amarone rather than a local wine.
07/09/2025: Hats off to this place, both in name and in fact. The food, service, and ambiance far surpass the limiting five stars. It would take more stomachs to eat it all.
