Bar Tunisi In Siracusa

Unsurpassed pastry shop and bar!

Known by chance because where I celebrated my wife's 40th birthday I discovered that the amazing mango mousse cake had been commissioned at the Tunisi bar, gentlemen, the delicious cake was not disgusting as it was a single flavor mousse cake with top marks. So I thought I'd pop in and try the granita and the ice cream and they are also promoted with full marks there but I have to contradict a follower because the pistachio granita didn't have whole pistachios in the middle as someone indicated but still very good! They also have a rotisserie which looked excellent and I noticed many orders but I personally didn't eat it

Since 1966, the Tunisi bar has been one of those realities, not only local and Syracusan, that do honor to their category. Defining it as a "bar", as many have already noticed, is truly reductive and almost offensive: it is a truly excellent all-round refreshment point, excellent from every point of view, whatever you choose, with some absolute excellences and perhaps even unique. Among the many, almost infinite, sweet or savory specialties, for example a pistachio granita with WHOLE PISTACHIOS stands out, a true gustatory delirium, brioches for the granita which are soft and compact at the same time, very digestible. The coffee and products in general to drink and eat for breakfast are also excellent. Ricotta, a classic ingredient of Sicilian pastry making, reigns supreme and is excellent and worked to perfection. Very good and courteous staff. What to say? Perhaps, better than describing, it is simply to invite everyone to try their products by going there, and recommend them to everyone.

Hit and miss when talking about pastries but the aranchino and mushrooms were delicious

Medium-high quality, with points of excellence, both sweet and savory. Add to this the fact that it is an institution in Syracuse and you draw conclusions. Prices are aligned in the high range, always and in any case.

A very good breakfast, super coffee. Vast assortment of desserts, excellent quality, the kingdom for those with a sweet tooth. Friendly staff, welcoming and clean room

We bought 3 boxes of small pastries which are wonderful, and the service perfect. We were even offered 2 small pastries to taste, which was very nice. Thank you 🙏
