Let's Say.... On of the bar where locale people goes, far from touristcs spots, a Little bit old, informali, with an acceptable quality of service. BUT: excellent typical pastries, to be eaten on place, or as an excellent gift for yourself or your beloved, to take away. Good aperitifs. It provides a very good selection of sweet breakfast goods, and they also have ready to eat dishes for lunch, like meat, pasta, vegetables and so on.

Dopo una bella pedalata, la colazione con granita e brioche è il non plus ultra. Naturalmente, se si vuole fare bella figura tornando a casa, non manca cosa portare alla famiglia.

Breakfast served at the table was nothing to write home about, except for the lack of kindness and courtesy from the lady at the cash register...she didn't reciprocate either the good morning, goodbye, or thank you...as if there was no one in front of her.

We stopped here randomly just for breakfast, but we ended up taking a seat and enjoying great cappuccinos with some fresh pastries. The “pezzi con spinach” was fresh, warm, and really tasty, and the “cornetto con pistachio” was absolutely delicious.

A rotisserie and bar discovered by chance on the recommendation of locals I met on the beach. For those looking for good food at a fair price, this is the place to be. One of the best Sicilian culinary experiences, perfect for those who want to avoid the tourist traps of Ortigia.
