Bar Trovellesi In Assisi

Inattentive staff, average food and drinks (a little enthusiasm and a few smiles wouldn't hurt).

Bar Trovellesi is located in the most important and famous square in Assisi, and I noticed that the patrons are mostly residents of Assisi, especially those from the "Magnificent Lower Town" (Sotto). Families, women, men, young people, everyone, a community, and… tourists. We drank beer and Aperol. It was very pleasant to be there and watch the city's activity. I recommend it. 08/05/26

Nothing exceptional, it's located in the center of Assisi and is convenient for an unpretentious aperitivo. The prices are quite high compared to the standard. The interior is nice.

It's a simple shop selling food, drinks, tobacco, and lottery tickets, very well located across from a plaza. The service is adequate. It's not suitable for people with reduced mobility; if you need to use the restroom, you have to climb a rather long staircase to the third floor. In my case, the restroom was a bit neglected, so I went in and out as quickly as possible. The cappuccino (café con leche for the Spanish) is excellent. The pastries are also very good.
