Tavoli in legno sotto un pergolato di glicine, nella quiete del paesino di Avano (borgo di case in pietra con fioriture miracolose ad ogni angolo). Michela e sua mamma preparano ogni giorno ravioli strepitosi con sfoglia fresca (provati anche quelli con farina di grano saraceno) e ripieni "di stagione": funghi freschi, formaggi di alpeggio, carciofi ecc.). Secondi di carne o vegetariani preparati sempre con il principio di "ciò che arriva dall'orto" (oggi un contorno di tartare di zucchine crude tagliate sottilissime con olio limone e prezzemolo da urlo). Ragazzi, mollate per favore gli stellati e fatevi un giro dove si mangia e si vive bene.

Cozy local restaurant, good tasty food and a very attentive owner, who we understood was local, and grew up in the city himself. We could communicate well in English. We arrived a little early and went for a walk in the old streets of the city. We wanted to sit in the shade, and were placed at a table facing the street, where we could follow the local life. All in all, an unforgettable evening, with local life at the center. Best recommendation from here, and very reasonable prices. We drove from Dervio, and would gladly do so again.

Detour to do. Family food, generous and delicious. A very warm welcome. A pretty mountain road takes you to a village made of small pedestrian streets. Which is worth the trip, far from the tourist bustle. Just pefect.
