Bar Trattoria Miramonti In Tarvisio

I had a quick bite to eat before going home, traveling through Austria, Italy and Slovenia. The Trattoria is a lovely, cosy, welcoming restaurant. The food was fresh, homemade and excellent service.

I found sitting in the back room a bit sad. Others may find it cosy, I did not. However it was weekend and I only reserved at lunch time. Too cold for outside but would rather sit in the front. The place is popular so book ahead and unless you like the back room ask to sit in the front. The Ravioli tasted good but I found them too oily / buttery. I would give them another chance, with the meal I picked and the table I had It was just OK.

Service was amazing, food truly Italian, will come again. They accept dogs.

Service is friendly. Ambiente ist ok. But the meals are very tiny and expensive. Sorry. It's a trap.

The chef fully deserves this title: he's not your average cook, but a true professional with an above-average knowledge of culinary techniques. It's rare to find such surprising cuisine. Some dishes are true gastronomic surprises, capable of astonishing with their originality and flavor. The portions are generous, the flavors intense, and everything is fresh and carefully prepared. In short: WOW! A culinary experience that leaves a lasting impression and that I highly recommend to anyone seeking authenticity, quality, and a touch of culinary genius. The restaurant also offers bar service, although not in the restaurant.

Congratulations! The chef has a star? I'll give you five for the quality and originality of the dishes I ate. A surprise for the eyes and the palate. Out of the ordinary. Compliments to the staff for their simplicity and sweetness; it was like being at home, among family, with a truly sweet and warm atmosphere. The menu varies according to the seasons, with a choice of three dishes for each course. This obviously means freshness and quality. Exceptional!!! You truly deserve it!!! I put you first, for the type of cuisine, of all the restaurants I've ever been to in my life.

A small, fine menu with Italian dishes (no pizza). Portions aren't too generous. Prices are within the usual range for Italy.

The place is very clean and well-kept, with very friendly staff. Excellent dishes, some featuring local produce, such as orzotto with scoplit pesto or tagliatelle with venison and mountain pine ragù.
