We stayed overnight in the adjoining guesthouse and received a very warm welcome. The breakfast was wonderful, with homemade jams and cakes, and, of course, perfect coffee.

The trattoria definitely has a homey feel...so much so that the owner explains the menu. The food is definitely healthy, though not very varied, and it feels like eating at grandma's, although not for the price. I recommend it if you like simple fare.

We paid €69 for two appetizers and two first courses, a bottle of water, a quarter of wine, and two coffees. Definitely too much for a place like this. Of course, being on the Via Francigena route helps keep prices high; people come and go, and you never see them again. As a well-known chef would say, GOODBYE.

Very good dorm with dinner and breakfast. The bed was adequate for a good night's sleep after a day of hiking on the via ferrata. The owner was very friendly and spoke French.

Hotel Ristorante Napoleon

17/11/2025: We stayed one night, three of us with two dogs. The rooms were available earlier than expected, clean, and nice and warm (it was cold outside, so entering the room was very pleasant). The area is quiet, and we slept well. The morning breakfast was excellent; the very friendly owner served tarts, as well as traditional cured meats and cheeses. We will definitely be back.

17/03/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times, both with family and friends, and each time has been a confirmation. The cuisine offers excellent typical Aosta Valley dishes, prepared with care and great attention to quality. The atmosphere is welcoming and family-run, making you feel truly at home, which is not always easy to find. The service is always friendly and genuine. This is undoubtedly a place I will return to again and again, and one I recommend to anyone looking for an authentic experience.
23/02/2026: I went for lunch on February 22, 2026, with my wife and son, and we were very impressed with both the food (everything was excellent) and the location (both the ravine we visited and the snowy walk along the path below the restaurant were beautiful). The people were truly friendly. We'll definitely return if we're ever in the area again.
