A simple restaurant, the food is very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. Service isn't particularly fast, but that's justified by the fact that everything is freshly prepared.

I usually search on maps for unusual places that, unfortunately, aren't what they seem these days. Well, this was an exceptional find, incredible prices, and amazing quality... if you're passing through Gran Sasso, instead of taking the highway, stop in Filetto (turn off left after Camarda, easy to get to). This is a place worth a visit, as its ambiance, food, and prices are increasingly rare.

A perfect trattoria for sampling traditional dishes with unique flavors. The arrosticini are top-notch, of course, considering it's in Abruzzo. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and highly recommended to anyone passing through.

A bar, but above all a trattoria, a bastion of traditional Abruzzo cuisine. The lady in the kitchen still makes potato gnocchi by hand, my favorite. If you're in a hurry, don't stop. If you have the time, you have to go for a lunch with friends.

03/09/2025: Excellent cuisine, always featuring seasonal dishes. Attentive and friendly staff, a stunning setting surrounded by greenery and a welcoming interior. The wine list offers a selection of at least a hundred wines, including mostly Abruzzo wines, Italian wines, and even a few from outside Italy. Soundproofing is available, and the restrooms are clean. Also suitable for those with food allergies.
02/09/2025: Everything was excellent. The appetizer was simple but special: the creamy carbonara with perfectly toasted bacon. The watermelon cheesecake was very special.

02/11/2025: We were invited to lunch with friends, very good place, quite good service, the only downside was that the roast pork should have been cooked more......
04/10/2025: Even though I'm local, I've never been to the Villa Letizia restaurant. Tonight I had the best pizza I've ever had, and I've been to quite a few restaurants. There were five of us, and I wanted to try the other ones, too; they were heavenly... If you want to eat well without spending a fortune, Villa Letizia is the place for you. Greetings from Popoli Terme.
