This was BY FAR the best ice cream I've ever had! I had ricotta pistacchio and crema amarettini. I've honestly never (neither in Germany, nor in Italy, nor anywhere else in the world) tasted such creamy ice cream. The pistachios on the ice cream were phenomenal. Plus, the place is beautiful! We only noticed it because of the sign as we were driving by. I would go back for this one! 😅
Characteristic location immersed in the historic center of Amantea a few steps from the village. The ice creams are excellent although I don't recommend the dark chocolate which was frozen and not in line with the creaminess of the other flavours. The prices do not make it accessible as a trusted ice cream shop where you can go every day but as an experience to be had every now and then.
Famous ice cream shop, located in the historic center of Amantea. The place is very small, the tables are practically scattered on all the nearby sidewalks, but it's a shame that with the traffic, instead of enjoying the ice cream you can breathe in the exhaust of the cars. The service is poor, the waiters dressed in dress without a common uniform. The ice cream is good but nothing exceptional, the prices are normal. If you look out from the street, the view is stupendous, the only positive note.
I'm not giving 5 stars just because the ice cream is very heavy, but 4 stars are more than deserved for the view and the goodness of the ice cream. Recommended if you are very hungry
