We had a blast at Bar Senza Nome! It was so cool to order in sign language and see people communicating in sign language. When you enter, there is a wall to the right showing the signs for different drinks. It was a highlight of my time in Bologna. We did have a little trouble finding it. There are at least three bars right in a row and we weren’t paying close attention.

An excellent choice downtown! When I'm downtown, I always enjoy going to Senzanome. The food is truly delicious, the dishes are fresh and carefully prepared, the prices are reasonable, and the wines are excellent. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the service is always attentive. A pleasant place, perfect for a relaxing, quality break! 🍷✨

It's such a perfect place, we went for coffee and stayed for hot choccolate and their craft beer (the beer is super recommended!), we had no experience with sign language but the entrance has notes on every item on the menu in ISL. We also wanted to purchase a beer glass with the restaurant's logo that was displayed in a cabinet with other merchandise, the bartender told it was unfortunately not for sale, but then he went and just gave us a glass from their kitchen with the same logo, he even refused money from us on it! I really cant stress how great this place is, the staff is extremely nice and welcoming and there is all kinds of beautiful art of the bar workers on the walls. Highly, highly recommend!

I wasn't familiar with this place, right in the center of Bologna (behind the Mercato delle Erbe), and I went there for the first time last weekend. It's a bar run and staffed exclusively by deaf and mute people, and I have to say the experience was fantastic: you can order with notes or with sign language (there's a presentation viewable via QR code), but don't worry, the guys obviously know how to read lips very well. We had two glasses of wine and a platter of cured meats and cheeses. It might be a bit more expensive, but the quality of the products is very good, and the atmosphere inside is definitely something you won't find anywhere else. I'll definitely be back!
