A real bakery where everything is made there. Very kind and smiling service. Local culinary discoveries. The coffee is very good.

We had an excellent breakfast at this traditional pastry shop in the historic center of Assisi. It has indoor and outdoor seating and is not located in one of those streets that crowds of tourists walk back and forth. Besides us, there were other people, especially locals or those who have been frequenting Assisi for a long time, an indication that it is not a bar created for tourists. Friendly service but a little slow. For two cappuccinos and four pastries the total price was €12, absolutely in line. Even though we arrived by 11, the quality was maintained. Thanks for the hospitality!

La Casa della Rocciata in Assisi is an artisanal pastry shop that offers a unique experience with its Rocciata, a typical dessert prepared with apricot jam, apples, walnuts, raisins, pine nuts, almonds and cinnamon. The quality of this dessert is significantly superior to the other versions tasted in the city and the portions are generous. I highly recommend trying the testo cake as well. Despite the central location, prices are average. An ideal place to enjoy local specialties of the highest quality.

Great place to sit, relax, eat some sweets or a spinacina. Great view from the terrace.

The coffee is delicious and the bread is delicious ^^ A combination of the sweet and bitter taste of coffee with the scenery unfolding before your eyes~

The best! The food, the people, everything. I’ve been living in Assisi for over a month and I come here every day (sometimes twice!) for my americano and a Rocciata di Assisi — so good. The staff is always friendly and great to be around. Additionally, the breathtaking views are a real treat. Highly recommend!

Bel locale, piccolo, con tavoli troppo vicini. assolutamente da provare la rocciata, anche se a 5 euro la ritengo cara. Ci siamo stati 2 volte, la prima volta la signora molto gentile ci ha anche dato molte informazioni. La seconda volta un ragazzo giovane dava l'impressione che stava facendo un favore a servirci. Alla richiesta se vi era un bagno, la risposta è stata abbastanza seccata

Per una breve sosta in giro per Assisi potete fermarvi in questa piccola pasticceria che propone diversi dolci della tradizione assisana tra cui la squisita rocciata, uno dei dolci umbri più conosciuti, dal sapore unico grazie al composto di frutta secca mista olio e vin santo. Consigliatissimo.
